If someone can assure me that Bogut is healthy and will play 75 games next year then I will get picky on the filler and 10 pick.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

A couple games of Williams and the sportscenter crowd will start coming to the BC to see the show.

Just what we need is another crappy contract.

I'm ok selling low on Bogut but not this low. (i.e. the offer of Bogut/10 for 2). To your point, I think we could put Bogut on the market then league-wide and get better offers. Ex: Bogut/10 to the Kings for Cousins/7.

We need to get the best single prospect we can for Bogut. You'd rather have Cousins than Williams?

I'd rather have Williams. But in that scenario, I also get pick #7 so I can select Biyombo to satisfy your man-crush. What would your preference be? Cousins/Biyombo or Williams?

I'm just surprised to see a non-local rumor involving the Bucks doing anything but "staying the course."

Is it possible they'll have a Plan other than "do nothing"?

If i'm the bucks, this is the only deal I do
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3autz4x

I don't care how Minn Spins this, but this is a WEAK draft and i'd take kanter with the pick.
The only player I actually care about gretting in this deal is darko, so we have some type of solid NBA center for a few seasons. Webster is garbage, even tho Minn fans love him. Ridnour is a nice PG, but we more so need him to make the trade work. Of course the big part side part of the trade if you will(outside of bogut for 2) is keeping ten and shedding goodens deal. Other than that Johnson/randolph haven't shown enough to take on instead of dumping gooden and who knows for how long beasley will keep his cool.

Trade your tenth pick for 14 and 23, to start the youth movement.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I feel like I've committed too much emotionally to Bogut and all that he stands for. If the Bucks trade the guy I might lose part of my soul.

Ack. Williams. But I'd prefer to just go straight up 2 for Bogut (swallowing the Darko pill if necessary) and take Biyombo at 10.

Honestly, I've suspected that something somewhat bold might be in the pipeline all along. We haven't gone a Hammond offseason without something fairly major, whether it's trading Yi, trading the spoils of Yi, the Alarming Spending Spree (acronym intended), etc.

Yes this is only trade I would do if we had to take Darko. Everything else is BS. I just dont see the Bucks doing a complete blow up.

Yuck. Not opposed to going into rebuild mode, but that's too much. The Bucks can still suck next year without getting ripped in any potential deals.

But like it was mentioned earlier, this was probably just Minnesota's initial offer.

Some of you are seriously letting you "need" to rebuild cloud your thinking. This would absolutely be a God awful trade for the Bucks. Giving up Bogut and the 10 for the #2 pick in a terrible draft would go down as one of the worst trades in franchise history.

I suggest some of you guys go back to vault.ncaa.com and check out the Duke/UA game. Watch Williams eviscerate and embarrass a very good Duke defense. Then think back to Stiemsma shutting down Beasley and decide how valid that comparison is.

Groan. Good luck giving up Bogut AND the 10th overall pick and trying to rebuild without getting rid of Gooden/Maggette/Salmons.

Ideally I don't want to see us give up 10, but if we have to, this trade insures us with a solid top-6 2012 pick. I would try to float any player outside of Brandon like Ersan or Delfino to keep 10, but that is obvious.

I wonder if they would consider a future first (2013 or 2014). So we would do Bogut for 2, 10 pick for future first. That would be fine by me too.

Those three don't prevent a rebuild.
