Homeland is the fastest hour on TV. That 2nd episode, I felt like I had barely sat down and it was over.

No, not really. A lot of it has to do with talent, but some of the talented TV actors could definitely transition to mainstream film if they wanted to.

Look at Bryan Cranston. He's been in a few movies throughout his career, but nothing like what he has going on right now. For 2011 and 2012 alone, he'll be in 12 movies, including the Lincoln Lawyer, Drive, Contagion, Argo, Larry Crowne, Rock of Ages, John Carter, Red Tails, etc. It doesn't get more mainstream than that.

I think a lot of the actors we perceive to be good are simply products of great writing, being on great shows, and fitting their roles well. For example, I don't think anyone on the Walking Dead is that great of an actor and I don't expect any of them to go mainstream Hollywood. But the show is still great and has great performances from the cast.

TWD is not a good example of a cast that would be able to transfer over to movies. I enjoy the show, but there are really only two actors in the cast that I would even consider competent.

Kurt Sutter had said Goggins and Chiklis would never been on SOA because they are too identifiable from The Shield. Well they took care of that issue with Goggins :)

One of the funniest scenes on TV Ive seen in awhile

Just watched the first 3 episodes of Vegas. Who walks out of the car as the mob boss in the 3rd episode? Mike from Breaking Bad.

Good show so far.

Homeland still very good. Too many close calls and narrow escapes but that's TV
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

After AMC limited the number of zombies last year due to budget contraints they certainly had a lot of them in this one lol

I watched the premiere of TWD last night. This season definitely seems like it's going to be better than last. The prison concept seems like it's going to be interesting.

Laugh all you want, but if you're not watching The Vampire Diaries you're missing out on an amazing show. Tonight's episode was as good as TV gets.

I don't know why they don't' just arrest Brody now they have his "confession". Letting him stay free only endangers the country.

I felt the same way, then saw that the running time was 48 minutes. IDK if that includes the previously on/intro and the final credits/previews, either.

AMC and Dish have reached a deal - I know a few of you have got to be happy about that.

I kinda thought Dexter had run it's course before this season, but on Sunday night, of the big three shows I found that I was most excited for Dexter. Great to see the show turning in a season like this so far.

It's been a while since I've been able to jump in here...

But I just wanted to come in quick and say how much I am loving my TV shows thus far this year.

Dexter has been fantastic and back right on par with the series at its best. Very enjoyable.

Homeland, though the situations seem to be going into more far-fetched areas, has been very tense and super entertaining.

And Walking Dead ... the evolution of Rick is outstanding. Love it!

That is all.

I strongly dislike the "evolution" of Rick. He's doing what he has to to "keep the group alive" and to "keep Lori and Carl safe", but what's the point?
