I think the show went off the tracks at the beginning of Season 7. From what I heard they always thought it would be a 7 season show... and now they are just trying to throw things together. The network is also kind of screwing them over by not telling them if the show is going to be renewed for Season 9 or not.

It's one of the best shows on t.v. right now. Buscemi is great and I am glad he killed a certain popular character.

If you like Freaks and Geeks you should check out the show The Inbetweeners on Netflix. It's essentially the same show, but more vulgar, and on BBC. Pretty damn funny.

The Inbetweeners UK is hilarious, Definitely recommend watching it. The US have remade it to. Its a bit lame.

I'm just starting the series and the second episode of the first series may have had one of the funniest moments I've ever seen on a TV show (During the drunk day of skipping school). Upgrading it from pretty damn funny to hilarious.

If Dexter follows suit they will end up killing off Debra at the end of the season. My guess is this club owner has her killed

After the first two episodes I actually have to take Dexter seriously again. I ordered Showtime for the sole purpose of watching the second season of Homeland because I had given up on Dexter, but so far both shows have been great.

I'm liking Revolution so far..feel like it has enough of a storyline to carry it for a few seasons.

Interesting thought, but she is such an important cog in the wheel of that show I don't see how then can do that. I think she becomes more accepting - and more like his dad was with his situation. That black lieutenant chick is sniffing around- I think they will have her get onto Dext by the end, but somehow she will get knocked off.

For those who liked The Shield and/or Justified you have to see Walton Goggins on the latest Sons of Anarchy. Holy **** lol. Kurt Sutter had said Goggins and Chiklis would never been on SOA because they are too identifiable from The Shield. Well they took care of that issue with Goggins :)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lots of cock. Slammin' cocks.

Oh, and I know there are a few fans of The Vampire Diaries around here and I haven't been more anxious for a premiere in a long time.

Was a pretty decent first episode. Not what I expected. And yea darker than what I thought. Once I got Oliver Queen from Smallville out of my head I really enjoyed it.

Homeland is just an awesome show. Boss has picked up the pace a bit their last 2 episodes. Still staying with Copper on the BBC America channel.

Is it amazing to anyone else that a lot of these actors that play roles on tv shows we love aren't big in the mainstream movie world?

No, not really. A lot of it has to do with talent, but some of the talented TV actors could definitely transition to mainstream film if they wanted to.

Look at Bryan Cranston. He's been in a few movies throughout his career, but nothing like what he has going on right now. For 2011 and 2012 alone, he'll be in 12 movies, including the Lincoln Lawyer, Drive, Contagion, Argo, Larry Crowne, Rock of Ages, John Carter, Red Tails, etc. It doesn't get more mainstream than that.

I think a lot of the actors we perceive to be good are simply products of great writing, being on great shows, and fitting their roles well. For example, I don't think anyone on the Walking Dead is that great of an actor and I don't expect any of them to go mainstream Hollywood. But the show is still great and has great performances from the cast.
