Going on tour this spring, then taking time of with family (dustin has 3 girls under age of 5).
Left on a high note - really love the new album, specifically:
for those acoustic lovers
Really cool videos, thanks.
I was pretty saddened to hear of the breakup, or break, when it happened.
That said, I think they peaked with The Alchemy Index. If you treat it as one whole work it's my favorite album ever and I don't think anything else is close. It's so incredibly perfect. Beggars and Major/Minor were good, but they're at the bottom of what Thrice has done on the whole, at least IMO.
However, I LOVE this song off of Major/Minor.
Favorite Thrice song (also a great acoustic song):
Honestly, don't know how anyone couldn't love that tune.
One of my favorite old school Thrice tunes:
Song that epitomized what made The Alchemy Index amazing. It's a must listen.

Everyone is free to like what they choose, but to me all that stuff is flat out painfully bad.
Winger and Skid Row? Really DB?
I was a teenager when a lot of that garbage IMO was at it's pinnacle in popularity. The only good aspect to me was all the girls in high school who liked this type of music wearing skin tight jeans with holes ripped by their assss.
Maybe i was to jaded, but i'd go to these wild punk shows in smaller clubs or see Metallica in their early days, then i'd be wanting to get some hot girls pants who liked hair metal instead. So i'd go to concerts with them and it was one recycled power ballad after another with the crowd holding up lighters. Felt cheesy to me, but being at a Motley Crue concert back then would be loaded full of hot chicks dressed like hoes and some showing their boobs for the band, not so much at a Black Flag show.
