Love the Captial Cities EP, Safe and Sound is more addictive than crack cocaine.

Completely awful video IMO, lol, but the song has grown on me. I was indifferent at first but I came around to it. Had not heard 'Forever' until now, so my opinion is still TBD.

Did everyone notice the Grammy noms? As if anyone cares, regardless, but still. Mumord, Black Keys, and Lumineers make appearances. After so much folk-rock on the Folk award last year, I thought it was interesting Mumford and Luminteers didn't get classified as such and that the Folk award this year is more true folk. Not sure how I feel about that. Good for all three getting nominated in general, though. I'm sure Mumford and Black Keys will clean up. Way too much FUN, but you know...pop awards show generally.

Lumineers are the most country act I've heard on the radio in twenty years. Love 'em.

I toot my own horn as often as I can regarding them. They spread like wildfire a few months after I spotted them on KEXP. Happy they made it.

Nice. I'll definitely tune in for that.

New band, really diggin'em.

New Ra Ra Riot.

And I'll keep promoting Bad Veins. :)

Atlas Genius does sound a little like Phoenix, but I like them both.

I guess I don't see the comparison to Phoenix, but glad you like them.

RP - I do feel like I'm basically their Madison, WI street team, hah :D

My Dish signal is out, so I've been taking advantage of my new AVR with Airplay and listening to Slacker radio streamed through my living room all day. Came across this band for the first time and was instantly in love with this track.
