This is the guy who got excited when he discovered that he didn't have to pay his first round picks the full amount teams pay them as standard right?

Yes. Resulted in a hold out.

If I recall correctly, Clay Bennet at first, told the Seattle folks all the things they wanted to hear, and then proceeded with his intent to move the Sonics. I could easily see Heisley doing the same.

I'm not excited about a potential Heisley purchase.

Not really trusting him... just because the NBA doesn't think Chicago could have two teams at the time... what about after Stern retires? Or as mentioned, Virginia Beach might want a team again.... Or Vancouver or Kansas City... whatever.

I really doubt Heisley would move the Bucks to Vancouver.

Kohl will not sell to the guy unless he gets agreement to keep the team here for at least ten years. And the only way Heisley agrees to that is with a new arena deal. Then we have an arena lease that they really can't get out of for a long time.
Kohl can't guarantee them here forever, but I think he can for at least ten years with a new arena deal. That's about all we can ask.
When Krause said he didn’t feel that the season could be called a good one since we fell short of the playoffs, Paschke rightly reminded him that there are 14 upstanding teams that didn’t make the playoffs. Made me proud that we could be among them.

I'd rather Kohl keep the team then sell it to Heisley.

I don't see Heisley as a great owner or great scenario. But the current Memphi squad is his.
And that 50 win team for a few years with Pau, Hubie and Jerry West was his. They've had more success than us.

The one thing about Heisley is he's always willing to go cheap and tank. Yet they made it out of the first round once in 17 years, and never made a conference final. This year's team may be the best he's had.
And also Joerger.

Oh my, If only Menard and Kohler were basketball fans.
Maybe Heisley would build an arena in Waukegan.

Why would the Kings want Ellis? Perhaps you are just assuming they are dumb?
