Just looked up Trey Burke. That's a sexy set of numbers other than the meh steals numbers.

I mean i guess I mean Jennings in the sense that he shoots too many threes and he really doesn't get into the lane much. That's where I don't get the Lawson thing. He is elite at getting to the lane and drawing fouls. Burke is pretty meh in that sense. On NBAdraft.net and Draftexpress he's outside of 15 so I guess that's what I was looking at but I guess we'll see where he ends up at the end of the year. I like 1-10 a lot, I like Burke and I like a couple second round type guys but the rest of the draft doesn't do much for me.

Love their write ups of players but you're right, their mocks typically suck.

.628 TS% this season

Lawson and Jennings have been very similar at FGA at the rim and FTA over their careers. Lawson doesn't finish like a lady though.

Burke has a lot of the same problems converting in the lane from what I've seen.

Edit - I haven't seen a ton of him this season, only a few games, but last season I watched quite a bit and that was the case.

Well he has gone from a 50eFG% to 60. Also I knew Lawson was struggling but I didn't know he was having an Ellis season. He's completely forgotten how to shoot the ball:

Lotto watch could get interesting. Pistons could take a leap if they start giving Drummond legit starter minutes. Bynum coming back gives Philly a boost, and now New Orleans is winning.

If Bynum comes back. And if he does, how long til he goes back out with that knee.

It'll take a miracle for us not to get the 8th seed.

To also play devils advocate, there isn't much of a chance that Ellis plays worse for us, thus we could start winning more. You can't get worse than atrocious, though you never know when you have it all.

If Toronto gets Rudy Gay, they should improve as well.

Chad Ford's Big Board:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft201 ... -prospects

1 Noel
2 Muhammad
3 McLemore
4 Len
5 Bennett
6 Zeller
7 Porter
8 MCW
9 Smart
10 Poythress
11 Goodwin
12 Plumlee
13 Austin
14 McCollum
15 Gobert
16 Saric
17 Burke
18 Franklin
19 Mitchell
20 McAdoo
21 Young
22 Adams
23 Withey
24 Cauley-Stein
25 Robinson III
26 Oladipo
27 Kabongo
28 Leslie
29 Brown
30 Dieng

Ford is usually pretty solid when it comes to actual draft. I think Leslie is a little low and would be great value at 28. Still I wouldn't want to be outside the top 12.

Bucks still with a shot at Goodwin. (Bucks currently 15th)

Wonder how good of a pro Big Dog's kid will be. Sporting 12.4 ppg @ .651 TS right now. I like Burke as well.

Looks like McLemore got a HUGE boost in the rankings. He has looked good so I guess its warranted. I don't think I have MCW as high as Ford does and admittedly I know nothing about Len.

I think he's gonna be real good honestly. Might end up having a more impactful career than his dad. Think he's got a better floor game than his pops.

He reminds me of Deng without the great defense (still adequate though) but with better athleticism.

I too wouldn't be surprised if Big Dog's kid has a better career, or at least a longer career. He is a lot more athletic and seems to be a better all around player, which should make him more impactful even though he doesn't have the silky midrange game.

I think he's got more perimeter ability and skill than deng. He could probably play the 2 in the nba.

It's possible it develops but I'd say his perimeter ability is more similar to Deng at this point then say a Paul George (who was another player I contemplated comparing him to).
