I think its a good choice. He's going to improve under Self more then anyone except maybe Cal. Now just need to start plotting how to get the number 1 overall pick.

I generally just do a "report" with a binder and cards on each player (35-40 players), college or country they played at/for. Skills that others have said they have and need to work on and ones I see in the draft combine. Then I pick one player that will go around where the bucks pick for who I think they need or should take. I got brook lopez a couple years ago and paul George correct. but of course I've missed on a lot too. Its just fun for me. im sure im the minority on the nba draft to do this.

Thought some might be interested in this. NBCsports went back and looked at the recruiting classes from 1999-2008 and gave their thoughts on the top 20 as well as other notable names.

Interesting that with the Mayo signing the Bucks now have the #1 rated high school player from '08 (Jennings) and '07 (Mayo). Assuming they resign BJ

Looney announces 5 officials and 1 unofficial visit.

Kevon Looney, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Milwaukee Hamilton, has cut his list to six schools, according to Paul Biancardi of ESPN.com.

Looney is down to Duke, Florida, Wisconsin, Tennesse, Michigan State and UCLA.

He told Rivals.com that he will take officials to everybody except Wisconsin, which will get an unofficial. No dates have been set.

Speculation is running rampant that Looney will ultimately land at Duke — possibly in a class that also includes Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor.

“I’ve heard everybody saying that,” Looney told Rivals.com. “I’m still open, though, so we’ll have to see.”
