I can understand the Evans struggles at the line, his head is a mess there. The more frustrating thing for me is all of the missed free throws by other players who should be making them. They win an important game tonight had the free throw shooting not be so horrific.

If UW were to end up a bubble team, all of those missed free throws tonight could really come back to haunt them. A pitiful 7-18 in a two point loss.

Really sucks to lose games because of FT shooting. There is really no way for the coach to correct it because it's a player mentality thing. That loss last night could end up looming large.

Worst loss ever by a #1 team? Duke is currently down 32 with 1:20 to play.

As the resident Gopher I'll give my pick for the game. The line is Wisconsin -3. The more I've thought about it, the more i'd feel pretty comfortable giving the points and taking the Badgers. Other than the dumpster fire that is now Illinois, the Gophers have not looked good on the road yet this year. Plus, Wisconsin is coming off a home loss where they had their worst shooting performance of the season, the law of averages says they shoot much better today and get the home W.

I think a Danny O'Brien led football team could outscore the Badgers basketball team. They are awful.

I have to laugh at Bo arguing that was clean when he was standing right there. He completely hacked Hollins, no question.

The amount of fouls these refs are calling in the 2nd half is nuts.

Minnesota is a very low bball IQ team.

Just double Hollins ffs. He's the only one that's doing anything.

Andre Hollins is literally the only reason I have hope that we might be able to pull this out. He looks like he's in one of those zones today. Everyone else has played really poorly, especially Rodney Williams and Austin Hollins. I think Wisconsin being in bonus essentially the whole half will be the killer.

Stepping on a foot is apparently a foul on the person who got stepped on.

Luckily they only gave up 18 so they were still kind of in it. Good news is they've scored 5 in the first 8 minutes of the second half!

Wow. Earlier today I was coaching in a tournament out in oconomowoc and we were down 17-3 at halftime. Ended up coming back and winning 24-22 in a pretty amazing comeback. Can't imagine that happening for NIU though haha.

Why wasn't Dekker in earlier? He is their team. Good move to sub him in for Evans.
