Olynyk with almost a flawless start so far, has the Zags first 3 baskets.

Dellavedova is going to make a killing overseas.

Sounds like Bo isn't going to change his stance on Ryan Evans, even though he knows he's been hurting the team in crunch time.

Evans missed his final five free throws of the game and finished 2-for-8 overall. He was also 2-for-8 from the field, including several misses in the paint early in the second half.

"If he just makes his free throws, we're out of here. We're on the plane already," Ryan said of Evans, who dropped to 40.3 percent at the line on the season. "C'mon, what am I going to do with the guy? You know it was going to get us one game -- hopefully, not two? What can you say?"

If Jackson makes one more shot in regulation we also win the game. Or if he doesn't commit one of his three "clutch" turnovers.

I'm not excusing Evans, but at least he didn't attempt a shot in the last 5 minutes of regulation or overtime. Jackson was 3-14, with horrible turnovers down the stretch. Absolutely inexcusable.

That's part of why playing Evans hurts the team so much. The team is desperate for offense because they don't have a PG and have to look to Jackson to score when they're stuck with Bruiser/Evans on the floor. With Berggren struggling from the outside, the Badgers only consistent offense is Brust/Dekker from the outside. Teams are starting to realize that though and are keying in on those two.

This is really just Bo defaulting to defense though.

Late in close games, Evans free throw shooting is such a liability, his defense IMO isn't good enough over Dekker to keep Evans on the court. Mix in his often bad shot selection and turnovers, i cringe every time Evans touches the ball inside 5 minutes of close games.

Oh I definitely agree with that. I think Bo's crazy for having Evans in there at the end of games. Also would have Dekker in there for 25-30 minutes every game. It's brutal to watch Jackson/Evans use up the majority of the teams possessions throughout the game while Dekker is on the bench.

If you go offense/defense with Dekker and Evans late in the game it's not the worst thing in the world. However, it never works out like you want it to.

Bo is being way to stubborn and it is costing the team. Im glad he has been giving more PT to Dekker late in games lately, but its not enough and Evans seems to find a way to hurt us on offense.

They have 80 minutes to share between Evans, Dekker and Bruiser. Dekker has barely been over 20 minutes per game over the last 6.

Their spacing and ball movement is so much better with him on the court, simply because his guy has to stay home on him.

Man, Marquette ended the first half as well as you could hope, 11-2 run. Vander has 14 points. They are up 13 on #16 Pitt. Would be a nice win.

Marquette is back in first place in the Big East, along with Georgetown. Buzz has done a hell of a job this year and Vander has finally turned into the player everyone hoped he would.

He certainly is, I think he'd be a great speculator for a team to burn a second round pick on purely to own his draft rights- but right now you can see him pretty much stepping into the starting PG spot for a major European team on some decent dollars.

I was impressed with Gonzaga in that game, they are a solid, solid team this year.

For all the talk of Bruiser being a smart player, he sure makes a lot of dumb decisions.

There are a handful of elite teams this year, and then so much parity from about 10-25 and beyond. It's crazy. This would be the perfect year for a team like MU or UW to sneak into the final 4 depending on what top seeds are in their region.

The Badgers aren't going to make the tournament, IMO.
