I'm sure there are dumber things than a Bogut/Miller comparison. I just can't think of any right now.

DeRozan is the same age now as Bogut was in his first year. Lets find a proxy, I bet 500 DeRozan will make an all-star game in his career before Bogut does. Something Bogut couldn't do in the big man depleted east. Bogut = Asik.

there is also i huge expectation difference between the 7 or 8 and the #1.
Doe anyone expect Terrence Ross to be as good as Anthony Davis?

It is debatable, but Bogut would not be a part of that.

I'd say Olowokandi relative to quality as a player, Oden relative to career expectations. Bogut made an All-NBA team. Whole different world of accomplishment.

Not the biggest Bogut fan but none of those comparisons work and Bogut is nowhere near that kind of bustability. I don't think the word bust should even be used and it's impossible to think of a comparison. Bogut not as good as Sampson but his career might go down like Ralph's.

Bogut isn't a bust. He's just a disappointment relative to where picked.
When Krause said he didn’t feel that the season could be called a good one since we fell short of the playoffs, Paschke rightly reminded him that there are 14 upstanding teams that didn’t make the playoffs. Made me proud that we could be among them.
