Brandon Jennings to live right above Monta Ellis @ Moderne

Pretty good read. Lots of interesting tidbits, for those intrigued by how/where NBA players choose to live.

http://urbanmilwaukee.com/2012/11/16/ho ... erne-digs/

Double Fun Fact: Monta Ellis, the Bucks’ starting shooting guard, lives in an identical unit directly below Jennings. This is unique for a number of reasons. They’re almost certainly the only starting backcourt that live on top of each other (and maybe even in the same building) and also seem almost certain to have the shortest the door-to-door commute of any two NBA players.

I think this might have been posted before, but there are shots of Brandon in his new digs in the video.

Jennings is teabagging Ellis architecturally. Funny.

I've noticed Jennings really likes Monta. More than anyone has ever liked a teammate.

It would be really hard for me to find something to dislike about Brandon as a person when i see how he carries himself off the court. Hopefully he has a really good year for the team and signs an extension.

Monta is going to get really annoyed with all that over-dribbling in the unit right above his.

'The Moderne' is a really bad name.

They need someone to start occupying units. Lease-up is apparently only around 30% and I do not believe they have sold a single condo unit yet.

Great looking building, but I am not a huge fan of the location. Perfect commute from the BC however.

Looks like a nice place, with good views of the City. Kind of a random location, I guess I would've assumed the players would be on the east side with better lake views, trendier bars/clubs were on that side of town if I recall correctly (Milwaukee St.), and more mature with trees. Water Street/Old World seems more like the regular joes crowd.

I agree Moderne isn't the best name.

Kinda surprised they would disclose this information in an article and even to the extent of what floor they live. I mean I guess if one really digs they can find this out, but a little surprising.

I expect that the electric backcourt twins' respective management have negotiated some cut price digs based on the requirement from the developers that their residence is disclosed.

Good point. This building needs tenants. Having Jennings living there and showing off his place does lend some good PR and swag to their marketing efforts.

This is a really nice looking building. But it was built with a govt. facilitated guarantee on it because the private sector didn't think the marketplace had the capacity for this building. It is in an interesting location being two blocks from the BC. Hopefully it does well.
