ALong with the Pelicans (which is fine), they also registered the Rougarou, Mosquitos, Swamp Dogs and Bullsharks.

C'mon now, Rougarou?!?!

I really can't stand watching the Lakers, they and Kobe get so many ridiculous bailout calls when they are losing it's not even funny.

I haven't watched an entire Lakers game this season and this was my first.

Gasol is not broken down, he is being ridiculously misused. Where he would normally have 15-20 shots a game, mostly in the post, he is relegated to a glorified jump shooter and his shots are split with Dwight. Kobe hasn't changed his game one bit.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Gasol got one shot 20 seconds into the 4th quarter and didn't touch the ball on the offensive end the rest of the game. D 'Antoni reminds of me that Coach from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when he called a timeout and instead of running a play, he just told the team to "pass it to WIll" repeatedly. He really has no use for Gasol, we might be able to get him for Ersan, Dalembert and Beno.

The Bobcats are going to be tough in a couple years. Like their coach, like the motors on all their young pieces.

So D'Antoni is going to start Howard and Gasol next to each other, but he moves MWP to the bench so he can become a backup 4 man?

"I want him to play the 4, and we have to be able to change our team," D'Antoni explained. "I hate it for Jordan Hill right now because he is the odd man out, and he doesn't deserve it. He's played well and he is a good player. But for us to have a different team -- a different look -- Metta has to play the 4. ... As soon as Metta gets more comfortable with that role, he will be very productive as a 4."

Artest is washed up. He should've been removed from the starting five a long time ago.

MWP is comedy gold, he's the only reason I can stand watching the Lakers. I'd love him on the Bucks.

Well, he's going to be a key piece for them as a 4 man and he's going to play a lot.

I don't know how well the small ball lineups of Nash/Meeks/Kobe/MWP/Howard or Pau is going to work in the west in the playoffs.

The Bobcats, Wizards, Raptors and Cavs are all going back to the lottery well yet again.. Eventually this group is going to rise off the bottom and should greatly improve the East.

As an aside, I feel the Toronto Raptors should change their name in light of the Pelicans. The "Raptors" is possibly the worst name in pro sports and I think it makes sense they give a name change a look if they so desire.

Crazy, but you can almost already eliminate 4 teams from the East playoff race and more then likely Orlando will fall off at some point. Charlotte & Toronto I did not have as playoff teams, but I did expect Washington & Cleveland to compete for a spot. But that leaves 9 teams for 8 spots.

NYK (0-1)
Brooklyn (1-0)
Philadelphia (1-0)
Boston (2-1)
Chicago (1-1)
Milwaukee
Indiana (2-0)
Miami (0-1)
Atlanta (0-0)

NYK and Miami locks to get in, and probably top 2. After that it's anybody's guess and some teams like Indiana, Philly, and Chicago may depends on health. Brooklyn hasn't been impressive. Atlanta's been better than I suspected. Bucks could very easily be the odd team out once Granger is back, and if Rose and/or Bynum return.

Philly could be out as well without Bynum. Indiana may trade Granger.

This is a great opportunity for the Bucks to get in and maybe win a round.

Long interview with Joe Lacob about how well the Warriors are playing, Bogut being hurt, the Monta/Udoh trade etc.

Just checked Lebron's stats for the first time this year. Scary. Easily his best season statistically. He is crossing over from amazing to absurd right now.

How is this season better than last season? Or 2009-10?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
