Frankly, I think Skiles main failure as a coach is his inability to create roles for players and to utilize those roles on a nightly basis. There is too much "floating" by him, and, therefore, by his players on a nightly basis.
IMO, the problem there is the only players that are consistently labelled 'scorers' are also (in reality) 'chuckers'. Other than Dunleavy. I can't really put that on Skiles... without a consistent go-to scorer, he has to use what is there.
Until there is an efficient scorer on the team, whoever has the hot hand is going to shoot, along with Team Tiny in the backcourt... some days it will be awesome, and some days it will not.
