He played in a broken system based around him. Much like Monta was in Golden State.

Tyreke looks like he doesn't give a fig out there. Probably a function of playing for the Kings. They literally just figured out his position.

I meant one of them getting 10 assists. With usage rates those two have if they didn't average 10 assists combined I wouldn't even know what to say.

Oh, got it. I agree. The worst part is I think either could have 10 assists on a given night if they actually wanted to. Especially Ellis.

I believe Monta is better than people give him credit for. I guess that's considered trolling here[/quote]

Indeed.

It's really frustrating. He facilitates really well tonight, plays a good game and will go back to his poor shot-taking self again next game.

Monta is an excellent passer when he can turn the corner really quickly in the PNR against bad D. Not so much when the opposing big pushes him wide taking away the angle.

Any word on Udoh? A bit concerned that he injured his surgically repaired wrist.

Injury updates for #MILvCLE: Doron Lamb and Larry Sanders are probable for tomorrow's game with illness.

Ekpe Udoh is questionable with a left wrist sprain. He has missed one game with the wrist injury.

Tobias Harris is out with a right elbow laceration and is expected to be out 7-10 days.

Mike Dunleavy, Jr. is out with a left knee bone bruise. He has missed five games with the knee injury.

Beno Udrih is out with a sprained right ankle. He has missed six games with the ankle injury.

Tobias gets a cut severe enough to be out 7-10 days and didn't draw the foul lol. When I saw Violet Palmer was on the crew last night I knew I would probably want to punch a ref before the night was over and they didn't disappoint. It mattered little since the Kings are the Kings but you just know Kings vs Bucks is going to get the worst crew, and they are going to be awful all night long.

I don't care what anyone says Gooden's tech was alright by me, and leading the crowd in the sarcastic clapping after Tobias finally drew a foul despite being mugged each and every time in the lane was worth the price of admission.

Being a Buck fan you just accept bad officiating as a part of the experience but its really getting to me this year more than others, probably because I watch Jennings just get hammered all the time, and it reaches a level where he shuts down driving the lane late in games. I'd like to say I disagree with the strategy and he should just push through because that's the right attitude to have, but unless he can finish through the contact its probably not a good play because he rarely/never gets the benefit of the doubt. I don't know what more he can do either, he seems to be doing what he can, the calls just aren't coming.

Bucks get nailed with injuries every single season.

Our depth is incredibly valuable right now and could carry us through this stretch.

But we're running out of guards.

Marquis is going to be our backup PG if Lamb can't go.

Is Mike James available?

I'd sign him to a 10 day if possible.

Are the Bucks that weak? Tobias out for 7-10 days with that cut? Dunleavy out for 5 games so far with what basically is a bad bruise on his knee? A coupple of the other injuries/ilnesses seem pretty weak as well. Maybe these players want to go into tank mode as well.

As for some of the talk on Monta- the hard thing to watch about him is he has a hell of a lot of talent- a better passer then Jennings, and probably quicker. You would think that the Coach could corral him a little on his shot selection, and staying under a bit more control on some of those drives to the basket. One thing I will say in favor of him that has surprised me a bit (and he took a ton of crap on this board over it)- he plays pretty hard on the defensive end- he can't make up for lack of size, but he has battled this year on that end of the court. Just no getting around his lack of efficiency on the offensive end.

Anyone else thinking Skiles actually tied Tobes up and cut him :( "This will teach you" he says.

Poor Tobes.
