I'll kick this one off.

I'm assuming some new albums by:

Naked and Famous
Arcade Fire?
Empire of the Sun - they keep saying they are working on a follow-up
M83?
Cut Copy?
Atlas Genius
Foster the People?

Probably no Coldplay album and Radiohead seems to be on hiatus again.

Arcade Fire are definitely putting out an album this year, probably not until the fall/winter though.

Toro Y Moi's album comes out in january, already leaked though

Then with a new year comes new possibilities of:
Jay Electronica-Act 2

The Black Keys are expected to release another album sometime in 2013. They're scheduled to begin recording early in the spring. Toro Y Moi's album comes out January 22, Atlas Genius' February 19th. I last read that Arcade Fire was working with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, so that's interesting.

I really hope Naked and Famous come out with something new that is a masterpiece this year. I kinda held Temper Trap in the same light as a band that wrote a few of the catchiest tunes I've heard in a while. They horrendously flopped with #2 in 2012.

That follow-up effort from them really was bad. Fader was one of my favorite songs of 2010. The 'sophomore slump' really can be tricky. How do you respond after having some success, and now have more pressure?

So I figure it makes sense to limit 1 or two videos per post? Seems to keep the thread smooth so that's what I'm going to stick with.

There was so much good music in 2012, but I keep coming back to this track as one of my favorites and I think one of the best of the year.
