Finally brokedown and decided to start paying The Man for my music by getting Spotify Premium. It's pretty sweet although I've noticed a few artists don't have all their albums available. And I wonder how much data it uses if I'm constantly streaming with 3G.

You literally are only paying the man by getting spotify cuz artists don't get paid anything from that service.

Only 230k views... :-?

This song/video is great. Lord Huron is the **** and if it were a stock, a couple of us would get rich investing in this band.

I'd be a **** millionaire if you could invest in band success. I've actually discussed such things with a former coworker :P

EDIT: Success more appropriate.

I will say I'm mildly surprised to see this get 100k.. live venue but definitely the best performance on the WWW.

I do think Hipster is officially mainstream but not necessarily a bad thing. Probably better than trapstep.

Alt/folk/indie rock has been increasing in popularity lately. Not to huge amounts, but more than usual it seems.

And, that video is totally amazing.

Silver Linings blew up Lost in My Mind.. and that's cool. Solid track and movie.

Lumineers vid.. all I can think is how Cody Zeller and his nose was somehow singing in The Lumineers.

I haven't seen the movie, but that is great if the song/band gained popularity from it. My all-time favorites The Shins gained popularity from Garden State.

Anyway...this seems fitting once again. This is at least the second time I have posted this, but too bad. It's ridiculous.

If you have a dad and watch football, then Silver Linings is worth a watch. It's pretty good. Jennifer Lawrence is nice in the movie.

In the meantime watch BK & 9W work..

WSJ has been streaming Clapton's new album all day today. I can see myself listening to this album with a drink in hand this summer.
