Seriously though do you think the Pistons would trade Stuckey for Udoh and filler? Not sure you guys want to pay him 8.5 to play 15-20 a game.

I don't see you guys having anything to trade for Ellis though, I'm sure some here would say Stuckey and something else but I'm not sure that's great value.

I know a lot of Rudy Gay trades have been posted, but would they consider:

Rudy Gay
Wayne Ellington

for

Monta Ellis
Sammy D
Marquis Daniels

All expiring (which is what they want to clear some cap space) with Ellis being a PO.

Gives the Bucks a guy who can hit the three (besides Dunleavy) and allows a guy that can get to the rim and finish (maybe a little better than Monta)

BJ/Beno
Ellington/Dunleavy/D Lamb
Rudy/Dunleavy/Tobias
Ersan/Udoh
Larry/Henson

Thoughts?

I say no, Gay isn't having a year worth 15m, let alone paying him 53 and change for the next 3.

Why the balls would we want Monta's brother?

This might mean the Lakers are less interested in Ersan, but more interested in Monta:

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

Trade market for Pau Gasol complicated because Lakers have made clear that they don't want back long-term money in deal, league sources say.

Not sure if LA is getting any offers better in this vein than Monta / Daly / Udoh for Pau / Meeks.

I'm not crazy at all about adding Gasol, he's been horrendous this year and I'm not sure he'd love to be traded here. I certainly wouldn't give any assets for him. I'd rather try and turn Monta into a pick or young prospect if we can.

I wouldn't even include Udoh though if we felt compelled to try and get Pau. Ellis/Dalembert, take it or leave it.

Love Eagle and Lippo's trade proposals..I guess they think the NBA is like NBA 2k.

Boo Hoo Lakers. Yes, give us good players with good contracts for Pau. That's the way David Stern has always set it up for us.

No thanks. If Pau was healthy, sure. But we don't need another Bogut situation where our main big can't be relied on. Especially not at the cost of the entire value we received for Bogut (Ellis and Udoh) PLUS the sacrifice of moving down in the draft from 7 to 12 (Daly deal). No need to compound mistakes with more mistakes.

Anyway, we aren't trading either one of the swag bros. No way. We'll match whatever Jennings gets on the open market (if we don't bid against ourselves and just give him 4/44 on July 1st that is- after all- don't want to hurt the little guy's feelings  ), and we will just hope that Monta opts in.
"I guess..."
