Will the team rebound without Skiles as head coach?

Simple question, will this team be better without Scott Skiles. We are .500 with him, will we be better then that by the end of the year?

I'm voting no.

The Bucks organization is totally broken. It starts with the ownership. Nothing will change until Herb Kohl sells the team or dies.

Maybe for the first handful of games, but the players will regress to their past levels afterwards. Of course, the impact on playoffs is how large is the hand that will be full?

I don't trust Boylan, he's been Skiles right hand man all these years for a reason. History has shown he is a General of the half a season tank.

I'm gonna go with my optimistic gut that Boylan settles down on a solid rotation and actually coaches the offense and hold the backcourt accountable. Voted Yes.

If we trade Ellis.

Dunleavy will be the key to see if we rebuild, if we trade him, then yes

barring personnel changes, i expect the team to finish with 38-42 wins.

If Ellis is traded for someone marginally useful at the 2 (bigger, decent defender, can hit 3s), then it goes up a few; if any other trades are made, who knows?

Good question. I was a big Skiles fan, but my gut actually says that Boylan might do well and the team may be re-energized to a certain extent. I think everybody knew Skiles was leaving, you can tell by some of the reactions from players. If Boylan settles on a rotation and guys continue to play hard, I think we'll have success actually. Tonight will be a good barometer game.

And it comes down to the players. I mean if going forward Henson plays well, Ersan comes around, Jennings becomes consistent, etc. That will equal success. So I really could see it going either way, but I'll stick with my 43-39 prediction that I did a few weeks back.

Tough to say. I expect us to start out well in Boylan's first 10, like 7-3, especially looking at the schedule. I think we'll finish right around .500, within 2 games either way.

Yes, as long as Brandon Jennings stays healthy, this team goes as far as he can take us.

I am going with yes not a big change but enough to have some value. I believe if a rotation is now finally settled on some of the players (those whose minutes were in doubt) will respond with little more consistency. I also believe Henson can add to the team and since he was mostly unused that's a plus.

Yeah, I'm not sure we rebound exactly, but unlike some I don't expect us to be a lot worse either. I actually think its more likely that we rebound a bit than that we bottom out into a 25-30 win team

Perhaps, it was good to see a win last night. The Bucks play their best when they are loose and we see rotations similar to last night.
