Celtics lost which is good for us, they are a shell of their former team and we should be able to hold them off.

Denver are a hell of a team at home, giving OKC a beating at the moment and I would hate to play them in a playoff series. There's a team who would give us a bit of a pummeling imo, bad matchup for us and not looking forward to going to the Pepsi center, we normally struggle there as it is i'm pretty sure.

I say that and they come back and make it a 1 point game, Gallo on the line after a dodgy call of Perk.

Kobe is responsible for every loss in the Western Conference. He is evolved Monta Ellis. He truly, has it all

Annnnd looks like Seattle SuperSonics will be reborn. Which is **** awesome cause it's a bummer moving to a state without an NBA team, nonetheless a state that once had one, a historic and successful one at that. Regardless, I will be rooting for "Be Milwaukee" as well as the revamped Sonics

From the WT:

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... To_Lockout

LeBron James commented on Twitter about the sale of the Sacramento Kings to a group from Seattle for a valuation of $525 million.

"So the Kings getting sold for 525M!!" wrote James. "And the owners ain't making no money huh? What the hell we have a (lockout) for. Get the hell out of here."

James has over seven million followers on Twitter.

"I do know Mayor Johnson and the city/fans of Sacramento will do whatever it takes to keep the team put. We'll see what happens."

Interesting commentary from Lebron.

I'm confused as to why the Rockets have been playing so bad as of late.

lowest payroll in the league-a whopping 10 mil less than 29th place Phoenix according to hoopshype(47 mil)
a severe lack of talent compared to the west
overpayed for Lin and Asik
drafting Royce White
no bench
too young-Motiejunas and Aldrich not good enough to play yet if ever
drafting Patterson over Sanders, lol

Need a second scorer. I'm hoping Rockets trade for Cousins. Otherwise they've been a bit exposed as a team that pretty much just shoots 3s, drives for fouls and Asik rebounds.

Neither Lin nor Asik are overpaid. Lin has gone from totally overrated to now underrated.

Yeah I have. I believe Lin is going to take a leap next season with a full offseason of work and improve his %s. All he needs is a consistent 3 ball (35-40%) and he'll be a strong player. He's got pretty much everything else you could want.

Jeremy Lin is possibly the most overrated player in the league.

fair enough, I like the Harden trade and maybe they will deal for Randolph...we can agree to disagree on Lin and Asik living up to their on the court contracts. We all know what Lin brings off the court $$.

No he's not. Nobody likes him anymore and there are few who actually have him that high. Once he gets some of his numbers up, everybody will be back on board. In the meantime, I like what he gives the Rockets and how he fits in.

Asik has been nice all season other than the FT shooting. He's a fun center to have.

Rockets don't have the contracts to get Randolph. I see that as unlikely which is why I'm openly rooting for Cousins to land in Houston.

For the Rockets cap their contracts get averaged over the 3 years, so Lin + Asik actually count 8mil each against the Rockets cap. It was only if NYK or CHI matched the offer that the poison pill kicked in. I hope they land Josh Smith soon.

Josh Smith to the Rockets? Can't say I'd like that at all.

Rockets lack any post presence outside Asik and I don't think Smith provides much more. Randolph would be fine, but I just don't see how they could match it up. Cousins makes the most sense since the Rockets can give up Patterson/prospect (Jones, DMO).
