OKC is on pace to go 64-18 with the largest PPG differential since the 2007-08 Celtics.
Durant putting up 29.5 ppg @ .652 TS.

In regards to free throws, I think that is a conscious decision by the league to have more flow to the game. There have been a lot of instances this year where I've watched the Bucks crush some guy under the hoop and we get the benefit of the doubt. Some of that is the newly created reputation of a defensive team, but part of it I see as a decision by the league to keep things moving. Wade still gets his calls on the drive. He just doesn't necessarily get them if he rebounds the ball under the hoop and tries to go back up.
When Krause said he didn’t feel that the season could be called a good one since we fell short of the playoffs, Paschke rightly reminded him that there are 14 upstanding teams that didn’t make the playoffs. Made me proud that we could be among them.

Chris Vernon @ChrisVernonShow
official... there is the salary cap move... RT @SpearsNBAYahoo Grizzlies trade Speights, Selby and pick to Cavs for Lauer, source said.
I'm assuming that he means Leuer
Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN
Deal would potentially save Grizzlies more than $4 million and take them below the luxury tax.
Zach Lowe @ZachLowe_NBA
I believe Speights deal would leave Grizz about $100K over tax. Cavs can send cash to make up gap. Speights can veto deal (Bird Rights)

That move ever so slightly pulls the Grizz under the lux tax for this season. And goes a long way towards keeping them under next season as well.
It still will be a challenge for them to add any players though and stay under the tax. Even a min salary guy.
But they obviously preferred this route to giving up Gay or Randolph.

Thanks for being there, Cleveland. /Memphis
Great deal for them if it isn't vetoed. Selby is still only 21 and he lit up SL.
Do you think John Hammond knows he sucks? Let him know it should you see him around town.
The Bucks: Worst franchise in professional sports. No debate. Worst owner. Awful GM. No strategic vision. All executives are out of their element. Pathetic.

Chris Vernon @ChrisVernonShow
Grizzlies source says the deal is Speights/Selby/ 2015 1st Round pick (Top 5 Protected) for Jon Leuer.
Cavs have a boatload of picks, this is why cap flexibility is important for small market teams.
Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo
Cavaliers also get a second round pick in trade.

Nice move for Cavs. Cavs now have three additional first rounders in next few years (Heat this year, Kings probably 2015-17, Grizzlies 2015).

Wow. You know Gay and Randolph are off the table now, at least in salary dump deals.

@WindhorstESPN: Wayne Ellington also going to Cavs as part of deal. Will save Grizzlies $6 million, get them safely under tax line.
Wonder if they'll be able to keep Tony Allen this summer

The value of cap space. You can always absorb contracts from a team over the tax. And then use said mid to late first for guys like Jrue Holiday Ty Lawson.

Get pissed when I see moves like this. Bucks should be doing things like this, but instead we bring in penisbags like Stephen Jackson, Maggette, and move back in the draft. Just your daily reminder that the Bucks are a **** of a franchise.

I forsee a Pau Gasol & Josh Smith swap going down between Hawks & Lakers......Lakers are going to get some deal that will be much better than our Monta Ellis/Ersan offer.......Josh has been pining to play with Howard for years...they are good buddies.

There is no way ATL adds $19M in 2013-14 salary. Their entire plan going into this year (and dropping JJ) was to load up to make runs at Dwight and/or Paul this summer.

I think Monta/Ersan is better than Josh Smith personally.
Also hearing a lot of media buzz the last 24 hours thinking the Lakers should trade Dwight and nab assets for him.

Their entire plan is a complete pipe dream.
Neither Dwight nor Chris Paul is leaving LA for Atlanta.
