Chicago should be in the first tier.

Yep. They're in cruise control atm and still lead the east. Their test will be whoever makes it out of the west.

Still haven't created Realcheerleader.com? Loser talk is wanting a team to be relocated because people from Wisconsin call you out for being a dullard.

1st tier:
Miami

2nd tier:
New York
Chicago (with or without Rose)
Indiana

3rd tier:
Brooklyn
Milwaukee
Boston

4th tier:
Atlanta
Philly

That's how I think it looks at the end of the year.

Miami is far and away the best team.

New York may give Miami fits during the regular season, I don't think any team stands a chance against them in the playoffs.
New York is the second best team this year.
Indiana and Chicago's defense will hold them in that second tier and when they get Granger and Rose back even partially healthy they are clearly a notch above other teams.
I don't think the third tier stands a chance against any of the second tier in the playoffs. Maybe push um a couple games, but none of them are winning a series. Boston stands the best chance of maybe doing it if they match up against Indy.
Tier 4 are sweeps.

I think with a solid trade, they'd more likely than not beat the Pacers in a playoff series. Maybe the Nets also. New York they'd have a realistic shot at. but be modest underdogs. Miami and Chicago are pretty much out of the question.

I think that's a goal worth pursuing, given the state of this year's draft, especially with the win total we've already amassed.

What kind of trade could get the Bucks a chance to run a round or two in the playoffs? I'm still eying Gasol. The Lakers are struggling, they either need to move players for better fits soon, or bail. As for our perspective, we clearly struggle against posts (Monroe, Memphis, etc.) I'd be willing to give up Ellis, Udoh, and our first round pick this year; provided we could also get a third team involved like the Jazz to snag a player like Burks for the future and in the meantime to bolster our wing scoring.

Then we'd have a team worth supporting a win now philosophy from.

Doing nothing should not be an option. This team as presently constituted, probably makes the playoffs, but then is dead in the water afterward. Not a worthwhile goal when 16 teams make the playoffs, and about 22 are trying in a given year.

I dislike Stern with the best of them and in the back of mind fear the conspiracy threats. But do we all actually believe this? And if so, why do we care if in the end (even if we're good) we think we'll be conspired against? It actually doesn't make much sense. Either we're crazy for believing it or crazy for still watching & caring about the product.

I'd put Brooklyn in the 2nd tier. They are a talented squad and no longer have a complete dolt as their coach. I wouldn't be surprised to see them end up as the 2nd seed.

Nets beat the Knicks. They are now 1 game out of being tied for the 2nd seed.

I feel somewhat vindicated because so many people doubted them before the season (when I argued they'd battle for the 2nd seed) and then scoffed at those of us who applauded the firing of the useless Avery Johnson. I know AussieBuck and others were with me on that one. Avery is braindead.

I'm happy for that team because they have talent and they were being held back by a guy who doesn't even deserve to write useless articles on BleacherReport. It is astonishing how bad of a coach Avery Johnson was.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a better record but I refuse to put a team with a defense like that in the upper echelon of teams in the NBA. I think they stand no chance in a 7 game series against a team I had in the top four.

11 games until the deadline (Boylan 7-3 in first 10)

Last 10 under Boylan:

V Phoenix W
@ Chicago W
V Detroit L
@ Toronto W
@ Los Angeles L
@ Phoenix W
@ Portland W
V Philadelphia W
@ Cleveland L
V Golden State W

Next 11 before Deadline:

@ Detroit
V Chicago
@ New York
V Orlando
@ Denver
@ Utah
V Detroit
V Washington
V Philadelphia
-----All Star Break-----
@ Brooklyn
V Brooklyn
-----Trade Deadline-----

Should have won that Detroit home game and road Cleveland game. Next 11 shows a good opportunity to lock up a tough home court, but start it off by getting back a Detroit game in their place.

My guess is 6-5 but the way this season has gone who knows.

I'll go 7-4 starting with a big win in Detroit. Really I want to go 8-3, but they'll lose some **** game in there somewhere like usual.

With Atlanta losing tonight we are only 1 game back of the 6th seed, and 2.5 games back of the 3rd seed.

That's a pretty easy schedule, but I'll say they'll blow 2 home games in that stretch and go 4-2

They will go 2-3 on the road. I'll say win both games in the Big Apple.

Hoping for more. Even just a 7-4 stretch would look really nice.
