http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/225701/Bucks_Recall_Doron_Lamb_From_D_LeagueThe Milwaukee Bucks have recalled rookie guard Doron Lamb from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League (D-League).
Lamb appeared in two games for the Mad Ants during his assignment, averaging 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 24.5 minutes per game.
A move on the horizon? Why recall him after a mere two games?

Two years ago the same thing happened with Larry. Everyone(on BH anyway)thought it was the signal that Bogut was being shut down. Nothing happened. That is not to say that something isn't afoot, just wouldn't read too much into it based on past experience.

I think they sent him down due to the co-incidence of the Mad Ants being on the West Coast at the same time as the Bucks.

Yes, this is what I thought I read the original plan was.

He hurt it and was taken out of the game, I haven't seen anything to say what happened.

In general the Bucks haven't seemed to have a lot of confidence in the NBDL as a developmental tool. Rarely choosing to send players down unless a matter of convenience like this case.

I wonder what Lamb develops into. I don't feel as confident as I did this summer of him being a sure contributor at this level. It should be another reality check of how much Summer League means --- along with Tobias and Sanders too.

He played like crap and was probably was hurting is trade value if he had any. Might as well dnp him and not play him a least until the deadline.

He has virtually no trade value and he wouldn't if he never played at all. Sitting him to protect his trade value of possibly a second round pick is absolutely asinine.
