Is NBATV going to get blacked out or will it be FSN that gets blacked out?

Jennings vs Jrue.

Bucks need to step on the Sixers to keep them down before Bynum returns at the All Star Break.

Big conference game here tonight.

76ers-Bucks Preview

It appears all the Milwaukee Bucks needed was a change at the top.

After a successful road trip, interim coach Jim Boylan and the Bucks return home looking to keep things going Tuesday night against the slumping Philadelphia 76ers.

Boylan was promoted to replace former coach Scott Skiles earlier this month after Skiles and the Bucks (21-18) parted ways following a season-worst four-game losing streak. Milwaukee has fared better so far under Boylan, winning five of seven to keep pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

"I'm really proud of the guys," Boylan said. "They've really responded well to the coaching change. We've got our eyes on the future and that's where we are going."

The Bucks are coming off a 3-1 trek, most recently beating Portland 110-104 on Saturday. Brandon Jennings had 30 points and eight assists for Milwaukee, which is averaging 100.3 points since Boylan took over - 4.4 more than its mark under Skiles.

"He's done a really good job," Ersan Ilyasova said of Boylan, who moved the Turkish big man into the starting lineup when he was promoted.

"When you look at our record from the point when he became head coach, we play more together, we share the ball well, we have a couple of new plays we execute well, and we're finally finding our rhythm," Ilyasova said after compiling a season-high 27 points and 14 rebounds Saturday.

Milwaukee, which is 12-4 when Ilyasova scores at least 10 points, was also in a groove during a 105-96 win at Philadelphia (17-24) on Nov. 12. Jennings had 33 points in that game as the Bucks shot 51.3 percent and outrebounded the 76ers 48-31.

Philadelphia doesn't appear primed to return the favor after being handed its 15th loss in 20 games Monday, falling 90-85 to San Antonio. Evan Turner had 18 points, 12 boards and seven assists for the 76ers, who led 82-75 with four minutes to go before coming undone down the stretch.

"As soon as the clock hits 0.0, it's behind us," forward Thaddeus Young said. "Now it's time to face Milwaukee and see what they're about and go into their house and try and get a win."

Victories have been especially difficult to come by on the road, where Philadelphia has dropped four straight and 12 of 14. The 76ers have been outscored by an average of 21.7 points during their last three games in opponents' arenas.

Despite their struggles, the ninth-place 76ers sit just 3 1/2 games behind Boston for the East's eighth and final postseason spot. Coach Doug Collins knows his team needs to significantly pick up the pace if it's going to contend.

"We're very concerned. We are seven games below .500 - you're gonna have to play over .500 basketball to make the playoffs," Collins said. "But we're gonna keep playing every night and see what we can do. ... We've gotta find a way to put some wins together."

Philadelphia has been outscored by an average of 13.0 points while going 0-7 in the second leg of back-to-backs since the start of December.

This is one of those games that gets you worried, first game back afer a trip is usually not the greatest either. But it's a game we should win and need to win.

Philly is horrible. 6th worst point per game differential in the NBA.

Yeah must win this one, but said that before, and then it goes down the drain. We'll see. A couple of more wins this week means we keep up with the 4-5 seed

Schedule set-up for the Bucks to snap off a little winning streak. But I wouldn't be shocked to see a sluggish game coming off the West Coast trip, lack of crowd energy (assuming no one braves the winter), etc. I expect a low scoring, ugly game that Philly may pull out.

The sixers are such a boring team, might flip to this if all of the college games are in commercial.

Not looking forward to the walk into the BC. Might have to park a little closer tonight, should be a near nonexistent crowd given the bitter cold. Got to start winning the games they should at home, its a weird year as a Buck fan where you have more confidence in the team on the road than you do at home.

I had a dream last night that GAD invited me to be in Squad 6 and I turned him down only to see him at the game sitting one section over. In my dream there was maybe 4 people in the squad. I think that may be the case tonight.

NBA 25 Under 25 Rankings
Ranking the top players in basketball below the age of 25

22
Larry Sanders
AGE: 24
DOB: 11/21/88
HT: 6-11
WT: 235
POS: C
PPG: 8.2
RPG: 8.5
BPG: 3.2
3-YR WARP: 13.8

Current: The list of premier shot-blockers is small. Sanders is on that list, and he adds an ability to make offensive plays in the pick-and-roll game. He has become an outstanding paint finisher and a big man who is growing more adept at earning buckets inside despite his thin frame. Beyond his shot-blocking prowess, Sanders is hard to score on with a simple post up, allowing his team the option of not doubling the post entry pass -- a huge benefit. -- Thorpe

Future: Sanders suffers the same fate as the other elite shot blockers in this group, though in this case he might belong. This season has demonstrated how Sanders can impact games with his blocks and rebounding, but he still struggles at the other end. Per Hoopdata.com, Sanders has shot just 31.1 percent away from the rim this season. More range will keep defenders honest. -- Pelton

Let's compare Jennings vs Holliday after the game.. head to heads tell the most about who the better player is IMO.

Jennings seemed to win the head to heads vs Lowry.

Ehhh... last time, Jennings played well, but Holiday struggled mainly because our length off the ball was smothering his passing lanes. He had something like 8 turnovers. Deflection after deflection down the stretch. Jennings played him well but the game is not played one on one.

This will be a nice opportunity for Brandon to impress the Coaches if he can outplay Holiday again this time on National TV. Hoping he has a big game and we win...

Brandon has so much to play for tonight. I sense he will be guarding Jrue 94 ft

Last time they used a similar tactic to Portland. They subbed Jrue out early in an attempt to get him as many offensive possessions against Beno as they could. Beno could not defend him at all. That was one of Baddy's good games and nobody they put on him was very effective and he went off for a whole bunch of points.

Wonder if they will go that way again tonight, or if they will try to give them a chance to go head to head and show off for the ASG votes.

What is the probability that 76ers coach Doug Collins gets fired if the 76ers lose against the Bucks totnight? He must be nervous tonight.

Sixers really are disappointing this year.
