I voted Jordan, but I don't really think the gap between the two of them is that big at all... if there is a gap at all.
The gap isn't HUGE, but it's very, very, clear. I can't even imagine the stupid numbers Jordan would put up if he played his entire career in the no hand checking era.
I just look at their overall skill sets and how they impact the game. I think it's fairly obvious Jordan is a better scorer, but I also think it's fairly obvious that LeBron is a far better passer. Jordan was incredible at scoring from midrange, on the block and driving to the rim so that kind of negates how dominant LeBron can be on the block and when taking the ball to the rim. I think LeBron is more versatile on defense (he can guard more positions and do a great job on just about anyone) where as Jordan was more limited in who he could guard, but was more lock down.
I dunno, they are both pretty incredible. I could see Lebron at ages 32-38 being better than Jordan at those ages though. As LeBron ages he SHOULD (just speculation obviously) be able to move his game down to the block, play PF and continue to dominate with his size and strength.
