For some reason I recall them doing the same thing when we traded for Richard Jefferson, calling Mo/Redd/Jefferson the "new big 3".

Jennings/Smith/Sanders is a pretty decent "big 3" imo.

Jennings/Ellis/Smith is just ugly, no synergy

I loved the stories in the recent Grantland Sheed/Stack retrospective of a (Oak Hill) high school Jerry Stackhouse basically being the house dad, either cooking meals for, or beating up classmates... whichever was needed.

Is Oak Hill real? It seems like the Harry Potter school for wizards (in this case future lotto picks). A mythical place that a generation wants to believe in, but doesn't really exist.

RealGM rules.

Need to blow it up, tank and rebuild through the draft.

6, 7, 8th seed mediocrity isn't doing anything to get a team to a championship.

Detroit, Cleveland, Washington all have a brighter future due to their young guys (as a refute to Gary's point as he blindly listed "bad" teams in an attempt to show that the lottery doesn't get you anywhere).

Jennings and Ellis are inefficient shooting guards.

Might have forgot something, but that seems like all of the substantive stuff.

The only thing he left out really was throwing in "rebuilding won't hurt fan attendance because no one is going anyways" in order to close that door before someone even attempts to open it.

EDIT: Oh, and also said Hammond needs to stop shooting for the Detroit model where he's been trying to find his "Rasheed" and proceeded to list all the horrible players Hammond has brought in through trade.
Kohl/Steinmiller/Walter/Weltman/Hammond/Skiles summed up in one phrase: "I've made a huge mistake."

This trade deadline is boring. Nothing happening.

Maybe teams just realize nobodys beating the heat now that Wades getting healthy.

As for Josh Smith the only way I would be happy is if we trade Ellis for him.

I wish we could just blow it up though and trade Jennings and Ellis.

I would trade Jennings for Eric Bledsoe and take a chance on something. Would try everything to get someone like Bledsoe or Eric Gordon. I would trade everybody but Sanders, to get these guys.

Personally, who cares if Josh Smith wants to play with Ellis and Jennings? We make the trade for the best interest of our team, not him. I support it if we're only sending out Ellis plus Udoh or Dalembert for Smith. No first round picks, no young players. Why give away assets for a half year rental? If we want to overpay him in the offseason, we can do it without trading for him.

Typical stupid Bucks. Kohl looking at player "impact" and not actually letting basketball people run this thing.

It looks like Tiny Gallon isn't up to anything these days. If we get Josh Smith, I would hope/assume we reach out to Tines

I was in West Virginia for a couple days this summer. Only saw exits for it off the highway. It quite literally sits in the middle of nowhere. Can't imagine the culture shock for the recruits.

Great point. Then just trade with SA to reacquire SJax and we'd have an entire oak hill starting 5! Swag!!!!!!!!!!!
