At the end of the day, regardless if it's Josh Smith, JJ Redick, or someone else, Milwaukee is going to overpay for someone. I'd rather overpay to bring in guys like Josh Smith and JJ than another Drew Gooden/John Salmons. I'm actually hoping that we make these trades now.

Good news for those that want him here long-term (not me).
WTF is an uncle-in-law? I've never heard anyone use that term before.
his wife's uncle, i've never heard anybody use that term either tbf but I guess it's possible for him to be privy to some inside information if that's true

I used to talk about my Dad as my "uncle-in-law" when he was in prison, but that may just be me.

Haha, my mistake. It must just be his uncle. He confused me when he said "uncle through marriage." Who describes it like that?

OMG is this what Hammonds is trying to accomplish? He's trying to turn the Bucks into a watered down Pistons team from the mid 2000's

We would score 70 points a game.
That is our starting lineup right now actually (plus smith minus ersan), just start smith over moute instead and you actually improve the cumulative TS% of the starting line-up.
Rumor is Hammond is taking advice from Doug Melvin and trying to add another lefty to the starting lineup to provide balance which is why he is pursuing J-Smoove and BJ is off the table. Interesting...
Wrong shade of green. Pfft, ballboys.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

This is where I'm at. I'm not too scared currently of us making a bad trade. I'm more frustrated that we're going to piss away assets in pursuit of the 8th seed.
Welcome to the Bucks.

The Gary Ellerson connection is the funniest thing I've heard all week. I don't even know why.

Mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. Heard of all of them. Uncle-in-law. That's a new one.

I'd assume his wife's uncle?
This is what I assumed he meant, but I had never heard anyone phrase it the way he had before.

I prefer no trades over a Smith trade by far.

Any ways we could resign them all and make a play for Dwight, they are all buds.
Amnesty Gooden
Monta player Option
Jennings QO offer
Smith 15m/yr
how much can we offer and then got into LT to resign Jennings the following year..
Make a play for Dwight? Love it!

Yeah, I'm sure it's real but I've never heard anyone who uses it. My wife's uncle would just be easier to use to me.

If Josh Smith really wants to be here he can sign the same contract this summer that we just gave Ersan last summer, amirite. Well, minus the 5th year of course.

Well, technically I was correct. Practically, though, it must have sounded really awkward.
