At the end of the day, regardless if it's Josh Smith, JJ Redick, or someone else, Milwaukee is going to overpay for someone. I'd rather overpay to bring in guys like Josh Smith and JJ than another Drew Gooden/John Salmons. I'm actually hoping that we make these trades now.

That is our starting lineup right now actually (plus smith minus ersan), just start smith over moute instead and you actually improve the cumulative TS% of the starting line-up.

Rumor is Hammond is taking advice from Doug Melvin and trying to add another lefty to the starting lineup to provide balance which is why he is pursuing J-Smoove and BJ is off the table. Interesting...

I wouldn't mind if the team didn't make a move for Josh Smith. I'll be annoyed if we don't move some of those expiring contracts, though - Monta and Dalembert in particular.

This is where I'm at. I'm not too scared currently of us making a bad trade. I'm more frustrated that we're going to piss away assets in pursuit of the 8th seed.
