I just cant believe there is so many pages talking about this chump! We could easily get Lamb and Granger AFTER getting Josh Smith all while keeping Jennings till the end of the year! WTF are moves not being made to get proven players and youth and picks!? We have the tools to make it all happen now! We dont make moves this deadline we will miss out on our chance to turn this garbage we call a team!
Bucks fan since day one. Go Bucks!

What makes JJ Redick a chump exactly ? Any contending team would love him on their roster.
Now he's not a move a team like we should make but he's hardly a bad player.

I agree he is hardly a bad player, but tonight was a prime example, once our defense improved, so did our offense. If we deal Moute, we very well could become the worst defense in the league. And he has been aggressive to the hoop this year, I do not see why we need to include a first round pick, with a player who is more valuable to our team to begin with.

New RealGM headline:
Redick To Seek $10M Annual Deal In Free Agency
....and Orlando is only willing to give him $5 mil per year.
Good luck with that, JJ.

Re: CBS: Deal on the table: LRMAM, 1st for Redick.
To be fair, $5 million a year is even more insane.
Redick is an above average player off his rookie contract. That already puts him in the $8-$9 million a year range. When you look at what a SG like DeRozan got, a clearly inferior player, the only argument against is age and Redick's game isn't going to be killed because of a serious drop in athleticism in his 30s.
I wouldn't give him that much money, but if i was one piece away from contending and he was out there I'd consider it. As it stands I'd probably bring him here for $7.5 a season if we couldn't draft or trade for a younger solution.

Sanders has the biggest impact on the teams D by far, and right now we have a top 10 defense in the league.

Ok, maybe not a chump if we are one of the top 6 teams in the league... But no place for him on our roster. Let alone trade a player that could get us a good young talent or pick for. He, IMO, can't do what dunleavy can do for us...so a chump, you're right, he is not... Worth anything more than Gooden, he is not.

I feel media tried to spice it up, and that we did offer up Gooden and our first, that sounds much more plausible.

Of course JJ's agent would ask for 10 mil, should be sacked if he doesn't. ORL say 5, his agent says 10 they meet around 8.
Standard negotiation.

I'd only trade our first if we were getting a first back in another trade as well... There's just so much the bucks can do this deadline, if we get smith and redick, and that's it...and trade out first... Will be a very sad day in bucks history

If the report is true, Milwaukee's offer for J.J. Redick could be enough for Orlando to agree to the deal.
According to this tweet Ken Berger of CBSSports.com, sources indicate that the Bucks have offered Luc Mbah a Moute and a first-round pick for the Magic's sharpshooter. Truthfully, it's hard to envision Orlando getting a whole lot more for Redick than what the Bucks are offering.
It's unclear if the first-round pick in the Bucks' offer is for 2013 or includes any protection. But if it's an unprotected first-rounder in 2013 that'd potentially give the Magic a pick somewhere in the mid-teens, where guys like C.J. McCollum, Jamal Franklin, Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress and Glenn Robinson III could all be available.
Considering that Milwaukee is currently the No. 8 seed in the East and Redick is an unrestricted free agent after the season, this seems like a rather large gamble by the Bucks. The only way it'd make a whole lot of sense is if the Bucks can lock up Redick with a long-term deal, which is somewhat doubtful given the team's history in free agency and what will probably be a strong market for Redick.

With the rate opponents would get to the basket and Larry's inability to remain grounded, he'd foul out in all of 20 minutes every game.

And I would take any one of those guys listed in the ESPN Insider article over signing Reddick to some crap deal just to unload Moute. Can't believe the playoff push is still going strong with our FO...

It's true that our perimeter defense would go from below average to piss poor if you swapped Dunleav for Moute without any other changes. But it seems like a Redick trade wouldn't happen by itself, and would be part of a bigger plan that maybe includes Smith.
Also, Larry's done a much better job the last few months at picking his spots and avoiding bad fouls. Last year it was obviously a huge problem, and he was much too aggressive starting out the year in November. But since December he's been at ~4.5 PF per 36. Still needs to work on it, but he's definitely improving.
Edit: Looking back at it, Moute was out all of November, where Sanders was dealing with more foul trouble. So there's definite evidence to back up the claim that Moute is a big help to Sanders. However, I don't think even this front office is dumb enough to do a Redick for Moute deal while keeping Ellis. No way they can play both of them on the floor together. Right??
