I didnt see that! Was it bad?

It was pretty visible. I guess Boylan wanted him to drive to the basket and was trying to tell him that and Monta came back down the court yelling back at him.

I just can't get behind this attitude. I know it's not logical with our situation but to be legitimately delighted when we lose like that just isn't something that I get.

If Ellis is off this team in the next two days this loss possibly factored in. That's really not explaination enough?

Of course, we'll probably **** it up.

We want to watch our hometown team win a close fought game. Guess that makes us losers.

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm concerned about / interested in right now.

Aside from Larry coming back seemingly completely healthy, this is the best development that happened tonight. Not that Boylan has any sway, but bucks higher ups had to see that if they were watching on tv...

It was great to have that 6 day break where we could pretend our guys didn't suck so much.

Makes no sense. We were 4 1/2 up on Philli coming into tonight. It's not like we're going to move in the standings at all before the deadline. We are also obviously not tanking, so we'll either find a team that is trading us win now value for Monta that we like or not, how we do in these next couple of games isn't going to change that.

This is the first loss I've openly cheered for all season. As a seasoned tanker that's a new record for me.

But part of the awesomeness was simply an appreciation for what Johnson did. Twice.

I don't care about the Bucks this season and haven't once. I knew we weren't going to be bad, or good, so what's left is caring about individual performances. Ersan continued to play well and is back to looking like a bargain. Jennings and Monta did nothing to really hurt their trade value. And the Bucks lost a meaningless game.

All in all a good night.

I actually don't mind Boylan. That inbound play he drew up from Dunleavy to Monta late in the game was nearly perfect. His rotations aren't bad, either

To actively be happy when we lose a close game at the end? Not even close. If our GM is basing his trade decisions on a game by game basis that's a different problem.

If they choose a direction, itll be a bad one. No way Kohl authorizes a move for the future while their sitting in the 8th spot. If anything theyll probably panic that theyre losing ground and will do something dumb like trade a first rounder for a Smith rental.

Jim Boylan on Ellis after the game -

Jim Boyland: Monta is a great player, I have total confidence in him, I will continue to have total confidence in him.

keep building him up Jim, we need to trade him in 24 hours...
God is good.
