-$wag twins extended
-Larry Sanders not extended
-Gooden signed to a 3 year deal
-Redick walk for nothing
-Andre Blatche signed

Oh, this isn't the "what I think will happen" thread? My bad.

The only thing I truly care about this offseason is extending Sanders for 5 years and 55 million. If we can do better than that and get him for less thats awesome, but I don't want him to sign for less than the 5 years I'll be upset. I'd pay up to 13 mil per to get it done too...

If you want the $wag trio then add maxing Josh Smith to that list. Or you could go for all 4. Lol.

This is what I'd do for sure. What we will do is overpay Jennings/Redick, and attempt to overpay Smith.

Pick a direction.

Do whatever you want but STOP making moves that lead to an 8th seed year after year after year after... Blow it up and start over or trade it all for win now moves that get you a 4th seed in the crappy east. Enough of watching the good teams win and the bad teams draft future stars while we do neither and stay stuck.

*Re-Sign Brandon
*Re-Sign Redick if he plays well
*Sign Josh Smith to a non-max Contract
*Sign OJ Mayo if Redick doesn't work out
*Sign a backup PG & SG
*Draft a SG/SF
*Trade Luc for a decent young player or 1st.
*Re-Sign Dunleavy if we can get him for dirt cheap again other wise let him walk.
*Let Ellis/Dalembert/Pryz walk.
*Trade Ersan if we can sign Milsap.

That's what I would do right now... Might change depending on how the rest of the season plays out.

Amen. I agree w/ this 100%. I'm so tired of this franchise having zero direction.

I wish we would have been more aggressive at the deadline. Rondo is always in trade discussions... I would have loved to see us get aggressive with some combination of Jennings, Monta, Henson, Dunleavy, Dalembert and our 1st to go after him.

Rondo - Redick - Moute - Ersan - Sanders is a team I would love to watch and I think fits together perfectly. I would still try to go after Rondo if at all possible this summer, then focus on adding some quality depth.

Entering the off-season you have Ersan, LRMAM, Udoh, Sanders, Henson, Ayon, Gooden and Smith under contract, and Baddy as a RFA.

1. Amensty Gooden.
2. If Monta opts in, trade him asap. If not, let him go.
3. Shop Udoh for moving up in draft or young player w/ upside. If he has no value keep him.
4. Set a firm price on Jennings, and let him go if he gets offer over that.

If you keep Jennings, surround him w/ more efficient players like Redick and win now. You would have a clean slate at the 2/3 position w/ a bunch of money, and your front court is already set. Sanders/Henson/Ersan/LRMAM/Ayon.

If you lose Jennings, rebuild. Shop Ersan, LRMAM for young players or draft picks. Play the heck out of Henson, Sanders and whatever young guys you acquire through trade, draft or FA.

Good point.

You'd think keeping Jennings or Ellis or anyone else would be far less important than locking up our best and highest potential player onto as fair a deal as we can muster.

This summer could be our last chance to get him on a Serge Ibaka kind of deal vs something much more costly.

John Hammonds plan
Match Jennings offer
Max Gooden and Monta
Screw the team, Bucks are moving soon, leave them in terrible shape for the next city that gets them.

Exactly. Letting Sanders get to the RFA point would be a massive mistake. You can already see how valued he is around league with how Atlanta insisted on getting him for Josh Smith. It's literally the only thing I care about. If Hammond hands out contracts to Jennings/Redick/Whoever and not Larry, he can GTFO.

1 - Extend Sanders
2 - Amnesty Gooden
3 - Draft Trey Burke and Allen Crabbe
4 - Re-sign Redick for 4 years/$32 million
5 - Let everyone else walk.

Disagree with #4. Like the rest. Though, I would try a S&T with Baddy for a pick and trade exception if possible, and ersan for a pick. More picks for next years draft would be ideal.

Would love to watch Burke, Sanders, Henson.
