You would think this would be a main story on the jsonline page this morning (or even the last few) to give fans a heads-up. But of course not. The Journal Sentinel is a joke.

Gardner was tweeting it out yesterday I know, and it was listed in a couple Bucks articles. I think in order to actually promote it that ad space would need to be bought.

my biggest issue with the court design is the center logo and how the deer neck just cuts straight across.. doesn't look right at all. went to the bathroom and they still have a Jennings promotional poster hanging up in there...smh

I won't be able to make it until pretty much right before the scrimmage.

But I'll take some pics and maybe some videos during the scrimmage.

I'll probably get some video on Gianni's since this will be his first minutes in a Bucks uni, he'll get plenty of run and many have not seen much video on him.

Some guys definitely seem to be enjoying this, some just going thru the motions so to speak. Larry is loving it, joking around with fans, taking a minute to talk to the little kids during photograph session, putting his arm around people during photographs...

My hunch is that if the court was done by a designer, rather than a tradesman, it was done by someone as old as I am who doesn't believe in clean, energized design -- or it was done to the demands of the client. The angels weep when a designer ignores his/her talent to meet a client's demands.

Next time the court design comes in front of my eyeballs (I won't go looking for it) I'll have to check out the deer neck. My first gripe was the misbegotten typeface used for "Milwaukee". The most important character is the "M" and it's scrunched horizontally to a painfully ugly degree. And yet the lesser "W" (if I recall correctly) is allowed a more natural shape.

IMO it's a low-budget, small-town, lifeless court design. We deserve better.
AFAIK, IDKM
