Stein: Strong possibility Bucks active due to slow start

Thanks to gaspar for posting this, figured it may deserve its own thread.

2. Can't imagine this is an absolute stance if Houston is really after the best trade it can find this month, but I'm told those rumbles you've heard about the Rockets preferring to ship Asik to the Eastern Conference are indeed true. For all of his offensive shortcomings, Asik is precisely the sort of defensive center who can really bother Howard one-on-one. Better, then, to send him somewhere Dwight would have to face the Turk as infrequently as possible. Atlanta and Milwaukee are thus two more teams to monitor, with the Rockets undoubtedly drawn to Paul Millsap and his cap-friendly contract -- though the reality is you can say the same about a ton of teams -- and what has been described to me as the strong possibility that the Bucks are about to get active on the trade front in the wake of such a poor start.

Knowing our management's modus operandi, this is absolutely dreadful news. Now, we sit back and hope for the best...expect the worst. We know the drill. Kohl just can't recognize a damn good thing when he sees it. This is where some combination of Larry/Ersan/Epke et al are on the move. Coming back won't be any young assets. We're more than likely taking on Asik after Lopez just destroyed us. Oh dear.

One of the most troubling aspects of it all is our veterans are either playing like ****, or are ****, so we could be once again seeing a young prospect/pick on the move.

This is what I absolutely fear the most.

I mean, we're talking about Ferry and Morey involved in a trade with Hammond and Kohl. Nothing. And, I mean nothing good can come from this for Bucks fans. I can just see us tossing in Middleton or Henson like they're a bag of complimentary peanuts...

Couldn't for ONCE, we be sellers? And acquire picks/young talent in return?

Just one **** time...

We really need to get that billboard up pronto and keep pressing the saveourbucks.com movement.

Critical stage now for that website and all involved...

Just reading that makes my blood boil. It amazes me how incompetent our front office is. No vision at all.

Vision is quite clear. Packers season will be all but dead after tomorrow, just in time for Kohl and Co to make a big splash and grab all the media glory!

John Hammond presents the thrilling conclusion to the Fear the Deer Trilogy. Early reviews point to it being more painful than Spiderman 3.

Let us all remember this Black Sunday. December 8th, 2013.

On the heels of an impressive loss to the lowly cretaceous Brooklyn Nets, the Milwaukee Bucks faced a bold truth: They were a woefully tank-worthy squad. Then came a passing remark from Marc Stein. A violent gasp...a riveting silence...Real GM Bucks Nation began their plans for a funeral party.

Get that billboard up yesterday :D

Here are some tears of joy to add to this rapidly spreading fire:

(From the same Stein blurb)
1. Keep your eye on Philadelphia. Front-runner would be overstating it, but the notion that the Sixers are a viable destination for Asik is increasingly making the rounds. And that certainly makes sense given (A) Philly's front office is run by a certified Asik fan, former Rockets exec Sam Hinkie; (B) Philly has a frontcourt player to send back to Houston, in Thaddeus Young) whose skill set can click with Dwight Howard's, albeit not as well as seemingly unattainable dream target Ryan Anderson; and (C) there really isn't an Asik for Philly to draft with the high pick it's likely to snag in the 2014 lottery.
