I think the thing that kills me is that normal, every day people, are somewhat embarrassed by weight gain like Mayo's. But, we aren't professional athletes. Or on TV three nights a week. His lack of shame and remorse boggle my mind. I don't know what kind of drugs he's on, but I think I want a hit.

I can say with 100% certainty that I will have a lower body fat % at fifty five than OJ does today. Absolutely pathetic work ethic.

I think it as has to Mayo. Neal and Butler were competitors but we at least were able to trade them. Sander did miss a lot of game but at least has Top Caliber Defensive stats for the games he played and helped to take care of Giannis. Mayo had 0 contributions both on and off court.

I really wanted to say Larry and his dismal year, but I had to click on OJ Mayo's fat ass.

I would vote Mayo as well, that lazy POS.

Found it interesting that one of the local Bucks reporters tweeted that Mayo was the only player not to have an exit interview (Sanders also did not have one but that related to his suspension). Surely he must be a buy-out candidate if we can't trade him.

Also, has there been any news on Carlos 'Waldo' Delfino? So easy to forget that he is signed by the team. Is he alive? Is he recovering from his injury?

I wonder if there are any terms in NBA contractual agreements that can have his salary void for not putting in work to hold up his agreement with the team.

No question the whole board and team mentally collapsed when the Albanian fight came down.

Au Contraire. That's maybe when the team imploded, but when we started to believe.

I guess I always knew Larry had this sort of thing in him, but for Mayo to just flat out quit. Excellent work, fat man.

I don't know how it can't be Sanders.

It is easy to forget but BEFORE Sanders got injured in a bar fight he looked horrific. Yes it was only 3 games but he was averaging 17 minutes a game because he wasn't ready for the season. Then he got injured and set the tone for the entire season.

I don't know how the supposed best player on your team coming in not ready to play and getting injured in a bar fight doesn't sabotage your team the most.

Take the best player off any team in the league and they are going to be much worse than expected. Now have that teams upside be .500 and they are in real trouble.

What is really amazing to me is that if Mayo was ever going to come close to being a 20 PPG guy again this would have been his best opportunity. Just look at Knight who increased his scoring by three point a game. He had the opportunity to be the focal point of an offense and put up gaudy stats on a terrible team, but instead he chose to eat deep fried sticks of butter all season. It's actually pretty impressive. How do you **** up the opportunity to be the main scorer on a crap team?

From my years of reading here I've figured that you guys seem to specialise in foodstuffs that would be epic to eat while high. OJ was already a pothead so I guess it was a perfect scenario for a guy who quit his dream of being a star halfway through last season.

There's these short paragraphs from the MJS article about closing up shop for the season:

....One Bucks player — veteran guard-forward Carlos Delfino — missed the entire season after undergoing foot surgery in December. He signed a two-year, $6.5 million contract last summer.

Delfino is now in the strange situation of working out at the Cousins Center each day while his teammates leave town. He said he plans to return to his native Argentina in mid-May to consult with the doctor who performed the surgery.

He said he was caught by surprise with the announcement of the Bucks' new owners.

"It can only get better," Delfino said. "Hopefully I'm here to see that. Hopefully I'm here on the court to be part of that. All this year it has been tough for me to be out during such a difficult season."

Thanks for that.

As a side, I find it interesting that lots of players are making remarks like Delfino's i.e. The team will only be better with new owners. Whilst I think we all consider that to be true, most people don't bitch about there old boss until they're out the door.

OJ Mayo could keep most restaurants in Milwaukee by himself, but it's Larry no doubt. Sacrificed so much for the tank.

Carlos thinks he's had it tough with the clowns he tricked out of millions of dollars?
