No, I'd prefer Jim Paschke and Jon McGlocklin/Sidney Moncrief remain in their current roles.

Who? I watched a lot of other broadcasts as I don't live in Milwaukee anymore and besides the major markets, most other team's announcers are insufferable homers and totally grating on the ears.

Jim and Jon are pretty good considering what they have to work with, Pashchke is a company man because that's his job. It wouldn't be any different with anyone else they'd hire.

I agree with this. Most nba broadcast duos that aren't the tnt or espn guys are really bad. Jim and Jon are at a minimum in the top 10 in the league. Not because they are great but because their competition is terrible.

Sid was awful but he is more along the lines of what other teams get on a nightly basis.

No problem with Jim and John. Moncrief should go though.

I also have league pass and don't share your opinion. Off the top of my head I definitely prefer calls from the New Orleans, Washington, Golden State, Chicago, Portland, New York, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Clippers, Sixers, Grizzlies, Raptors and Mavericks broadcasts.

I actually like Toronto's announcers quite a bit.

Hung out with Diener for a night at Axles back in early 2000's. My friend grew up with him. He was a cocky little sob, but I can't imagine most guys aren't in that position.

I have no reason to want him as a broadcast announcer. Assuming that was a joke.

why? because boring people that have never played in the NBA make better announcers?

Today is the perfect day to respectfully let the owners know you'd prefer a new broadcast team.

In a way I feel sorry for Pasche. He's a Bucks employee and is paid to stay positive, even in the face of all the putrid teams we've had over the years. But his voice has become synonymous with losing. With McGlocklin already on the way out it's time to start fresh.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

By all accounts from current and former co-workers I've heard from, he's insufferable. He basically thinks he's better than everyone because he flies with the team on a plane that looks like it's out of Major League and gets the per diem to stuff his face.

Yeah I've heard that too. There are so many changes that need to be made in this organization that I imagine Paschke is safe for this year anyway.

Big fan of Johnny Mac, he's a solid dude all the way around, extremely personable. Always liked his telecast, and after gutting out a season with Moncrief I appreciate John a lot more. Syd's just not smooth enough yet and I'm not sure he will be.

Jim is Jim, taken in the context of understanding he's a company man his play by play is alright his asides though lack any real serious depth even within that context.

This.

As a former Bucks employee, I can attest that Paschke had his superiority complex and wouldn't even say hi to you if you weren't above him on the totem pole. He was the one person I was most turned off by because he presents himself as affable and likeable on broadcasts and is totally different off camera.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

McGlocklin is fine, even if he did almost murder me with his car.

Paschke is replaceable.

Haha. I've not seen you talk about that before.

The reason I bring it up is because he damn near ran me over in about 1988 as well.

honest question, how much do actually listen to the announcers when they game is on?

I'd say I really pay attention to them about 10% of the time.

Paschke and Jon McGlocklin remind me of Jim Irwin & Max McGee before they finally hung it up. They were brutal towards the end.
