Amy's is a campus bar that is very casual. I never thought of it as a sports bar. Great place to get a microbrew, get together with a group of friends, good bar/cafe food, open mics. Not upscale but a very comfortable place. I could always go in there by myself and have a stout and read Isthmus--leave feeling very relaxed. :)

That's pretty cool. Lots of options wherever you are located.

UPDATE:

tyland's party of one - North East Victoria.

Taking the day off work to watch (draft is 9am Friday here) and contemplating doing an all-nighter leading up to the draft so I don't miss out on anything. Will be eating Chill-Dogs to get in the spirit and will be wearing my Bucks hardwood classic Bango/Oscar Robertson T-Shirt. Will also be littering this board and twitter with my comments, reactions and jokes with poor taste.

To the other Aussies on this board, I wrote to Neulion who run NBA International League Pass. The draft will be available on ILP according to them. So I'll be watching on my X360 rather than on dodgy streams at VHS quality. Good times!

Would have never thought of Amy's as a place to host a draft party. Don't they only have tiny TVs? Or is there more in the back room? I may show up though since I only live about a 5-10 min walk away.

See everyone tomorrow at Upper 90. Looking forward to it!

We will have the sound up louder this time so you will for sure be able to hear about "potential", "length" and "upside."

If you head out let me know. I'll be at a conference around the town and may need a spot saved.

Unless they changed it up, I think they have two decent sized TV's in the front of the bar, no TV's in the back lounge area.

There's sure to be cheap beer, at least.

Party hearty Ladies & Gentlemen!

I will be watching at home out near the West Coast of Wisconsin.

Regarless of which one of the guys we pick (and keep!), let us all hope that young man lives up to our collective ideal.

I'm leaning towards not going now. I injured my foot and now I'm not too keen on walking over there. So I'm a game time decision. Sorry.

Their happy hour two for one is always money, especially in the summer when there is outdoor seating.

I can confirm he is not as I have had a run in at Milwaukee bars with him back in the day.

Also, damn, Amy's. That's a blast from the past for me at this point. Doesn't seem like a great bball bar, but anyone can make it one.

Thanks anyways. I'm heading there now.

Thanks to Bucksketball for hosting last night. Was a good time, and was able to hear everything pretty well.

Homer likes to drink red wine in bars and thinks Giannis is a 7th or 8th man on a good team. :reporter:
