Is there an ignore list feature on this forum?

It's getting really old reading those horrible, angry posts.

That is a terrible plan. Either bad moves, or proposals that would never go down.

Nice try tho.

Getting a kick out of the philly board. Them saying they shouldn't change the rules to the lottery without at least a years notice is cause otherwise there teams would have gone a different way in this offseason is funny to me. Considering philly's tanking hard and considering the reason for the proposed changed is to discourage tanking I think they'd be right on point not to give a years notice to teams.

Not a huge fan of the proposed system but reading some of their pouts about how unfair this would be to them is comical. The NBA is trying to get rid of tanking.... Of course it's going to be unfair to a team trying to tank as hard as philly lol... That's the entire point.

The system should not be changed until all current traded Draft picks have been used. Changing the system could radically change how various deals and trades would be valued.

I think the proposal is stupid because it is reactionary. Also, the entire reason that it was changed to heavily weighted was because teams hated ORL and CHI inning #1 with super low odds. So Silver wants it changed now due to PHI and then in likely 4 years or so there will be an uproar when a team just outside the playoffs gets #1 and goes back to how it currently is.

Way-too-early 2015 Mock Draft
Sixers select Duke's Okafor No. 1 in long-range projection of 2015 NBA draft
Chad Ford

2. Emmanuel Mudiay Milwaukee Bucks
COLLEGE: China HT: 6-5 WT: 196 POS: PG
Bucks' odds of winning lottery: 19.9 percent

Mudiay's decision to spurn Southern Methodist and play in China didn't set well with the college basketball paparazzi, but NBA folks, while disappointed they didn't get to see him grow under the tutelage of Larry Brown, don't think it will impact his draft stock -- regardless of how he plays. The Bucks would do well adding a big, athletic point guard to their core of Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Ford's 1st Mock.

1 - 76ers - Okafor
2 - Bucks - Mudiay

Don't think we will pick that high but Mudiay would be best case scenario for us in terms of fit and upside/talent.

Mudiay/Giannis/Parker/Sanders core = salivating.

Ford's comment that Okafor is the consensus #1 is interesting. I think he's be outside of my top 3 at this point.

My wish list is probably:

1 - Towns
2 - Mudiay
3 - Oubre
4 - Okafor
5 - Johnson

And the 76ers would pass on Mudiay to draft the same position they've drafted the past 2 years is because????????

If Delon works on his 3pt shot and we don't end up with a top 5 pick I'd love to grab him in the draft.

Goodman with his first mock of the year:

1 - PHI - Okafor
2 - MIL - Towns
Analysis: The Bucks just need to accumulate the best talent, and Towns would look good with Jabari Parker. Towns has everything an NBA team seeks out in a draft pick: length, skill and athleticism. He can be effective on both ends of the court, and also has the versatility to score both inside and outside. He's a high-upside guy who should also produce plenty this season in Lexington, Kentucky.

3 - MIN - Mudiay
4 - BOS - Turner
5 - ORL - Oubre
6 - SAC - Porzingas
7 - DET - Alexander
8 - UTA - Johnson
9 - PHX - Cauley-Stein
10 - NYK - Lyles
11 - HOU - Hezonja
12 - DEN - Dekker
13 - CHA - LeVert

This would be incredible.

If we got Towns I'd be ecstatic. I think he's the best player in this upcoming class.

It does kind of suck that there is a lack of really great guard prospects though. One of the reasons I wanted Bledsoe was that it'd be really risky banking on acquiring that 3rd star in a big man-heavy draft when we're essentially set at the 3 front court spots.

Although getting Towns would mean Larry is expendable...

If our frontline was Giannis/Parker/Towns, I'd probably fap myself into a coma.

I also like Mudiay.
