Now that David West opted out what do we think the Pacers do?

Their big man rotation is a mess. Henson / 17 for 11 must look even better for them now.

This is why we have the cap space.

Portis is a really good get at 17. I don't know what you mean, "at his size". He's not big for a C, he's slightly above average for PF. But he's tough, his production was really good as a soph, and he can hit a jumper.

I'm interested in both.

I think WCS could easily bust, but if he slips you need to move up for him (or take him at 17 if he falls, which I don't think happens). If he hits, we are EASILY the best defensive team in basketball.

We have nothing to move up high enough for Mudiay outside of Giannis or Jabari.

I can't see Danny Ainge not thinking the same thing though, don't think he'll make it to 17 if he falls, we would definitely need to trade up.

I would love to get Jones and 18 from the Rockets. What do you guys think it would take?

The Bucks have done more homework on the following players than most of the others they've worked out:

Willie Cauley Stein
Trey Lyles
Hollis Jefferson
Jerian Grant
Bobby Portis

in no particular order.

Depends on how much cap space they need to clear.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I was just looking at Houston's payroll. I don't really know what salary they'd be wanting to clear. Maybe Ariza? Jones doens't make anything. I'd easily just absorb Ariza and T. Jones to get 18. Ariza's contract is declining to less than $8M per after this year, and he's been reasonably productive. Not quite 30 yet.

I love Jones as a player too.

If WCS's ankle keeps him out for 4-6 months, a Tyson Chandler signing makes that much more sense.

I was VERY high on Jones during that draft and pretty disappointed we didn't nab him. Would be very interested to see how this team would look with him at center for stretches.

Absorb T. Jones and Ariza with #18.
WCS falls to 17.

WCS at 17, T. Jones at 18.

MCW/T. Jones/Ennis
Middleton/Mayo/Bayless
Parker/Ariza/Dudley
Giannis/T. Jones/Inglis
WCS/Henson/Pachulia

Don't tease me, Chad.

Watching him move, and kind of how he looks, and I can't help but think of another former Buck

Guys, Damien isn't a 4. He'll be a backup guard and wing before that. Dudley should continue in that role anyway.
