I've kind of mentioned him as my sleeper pick, but I haven't heard anything leak with his name so probably unlikely.

Host at the end says "If you coach in LA, you can still work at Fox Sports".

I still don't like how everyone has to say "MILWAUKEE?!?!?!" when talking about working in our city.

It's always people that have never been to MKE or met the people. Yep, weather can be crappy. But a city is more than just its weather patterns.

I hope he chooses LA. Not that I think he would be a good or bad coach - that I have no idea on. Just seems like a distraction. I don't think the young guys need that right now.

I didn't think it was too bad how she said it. I think it was more of her wanting him to stay in LA, not a slight on Milwaukee.

Milwaukee just needs to pull the trick from the OJ trial and be like the glove doesn't fit, carry on.

The great news is this isn't Gary Payton. Amen for dodging that bullet.

Greg Foster is from Oakland, CA and went to high school with Gary Payton.

Meh, was hoping we could find a bigs coach that could teach Henson how to be better offensively. How to shoot, not how to be a goon.

Foster...this one came out of left field. I had to look it up I did not remember him with us.

He did player development with the 6ers last year. What's his role here going to be?

I've honestly never heard of him. I had to look him up and he played a total of 43 minutes in 2 different seasons for the Bucks. Kidd wasn't kidding when he said he had a stint here.

I didn't realize he played here either, must've been those rough mid-90s if I had to guess off top of my head. I recall him mostly with the Jazz. Assume his high school boys will go to Whitefish Bay to make them even more stacked.

No wonder I don't recall him, he played a total of 43 minutes in a Bucks uniform in the course of 2 stints in 93-94 and 01-02. He did average 14 & 9 per 36 though. ;)

Glad the Gary Payton paranoia is over.

Yes

Del Harris with some great quotes...

"Greg Foster hasn't earned the right to be anything in this league," Harris said later in even tones. "He's lucky that he's just been able to stick with a team.

"He has not got the right to taunt anybody. Wait until he's done something in this league."

The Diesel...

"He's a bum. He's just hiding behind [Jeff] Hornacek, [John] Stockton. He's a bum, period."

So Foster probably goes back with Kidd as well. There isn't a limit on assistants hired, so I don't know if we can rule out Payton yet.

Ah, the Greg Foster years with the Bucks. What fond memories.

By years, I mean minutes.

I forgot he was here but once I saw the name I remembered. He was here at the tail end of his career iirc and was never anything special as a player. He was Jason Collins prior to Jason Collins, more or less. No idea what kind of coach he is, just like I'd have no idea if it was Payton or Stack. So we'll see what happens and hope he's good at the job.
