Taco trucks, just about any authentic Mexican restaurant on the south side or pass.

I used to think El Fuego was OK until I went there for lunch once and ordered a Torta that was inedible.

I can't believe we live in a world where people prefer Qdoba to Chipotle. Does fake cheese sauce really sway people that much? The main reason I hear people prefer Qdoba is because of their queso, which is glorified Cheez Wiz with some extra spices.

As far as fast food goes, Chipotle is at least mostly not fake food and if you don't overload with sour cream and cheese, it might border on healthy/good protein provider.

Also, I love the sheet out of fast food. 'MURICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chipotle is pretty decent food, fresh ingredients and everything is made right in front of you. Nice and clean. The only real issue is the high sodium content. Calories can get high if you eat a burrito, stick with a bowl.

The food is pretty similar when it comes to bland pretend Mexican so that's a push. I've noticed at many Chipotles the line workers are hipster dorks whereas I notice mostly cute chicks at Qdoba.

Power of the pussy shifts it towards the Q.

Fwiw, Fuego and Beso are owned by a Greek family that used to own a bunch of traditional Greek diners but got into Mexican restaurants because they're cheaper and easier to maintain in the kitchen (less ingredients, waste, etc.) From what I was told the majority of their stuff is pre made and heated.

Very cool patios and decor though.

I have some inside information. At summerfest John Henson had just eaten Chipotle which he suggested everyone go to. But followed that up by saying that he prefers Qdoba.

I think I'm partial to Qdoba in that I've been there more and it reminds me of my college days of heading over to the one on the east side at like 2-3am --- at that time MU didn't have one on campus like I believe they do now. GB just got a Chipotle in the last year or so, and I thought it was good --- but not terribly different from Q. I enjoy them both and definitely don't confuse them for authentic Mexican.

There is a place in Madison called Habanero's that is similar to Chipotle and Qdoba but it absolutely CRUSHES both of them. Seriously amazing burritos.

I feel bad for people in countries like Australia, Canada, and even the whole of Europe. They can't even find one decent burrito joint much less have an argument about two chains.
