No, but it's been said they both enjoy the same extracurricular activities...
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I think he's a decent capable player. Its all about role. If he's your #1 scorer you're going to have problems. Put him in a more reserve type role with consistent minutes whatever they are and I think you could be ok.

Time will tell.

I agree. I think in the end it all falls on him. If he shows up in shape and ready to go, I think there is reason for optimism. If he doesn't, then he probably isn't going to play much. I think Kidd will give him every opportunity early to contribute. I know we as fans care much more than the players, generally, but I would think in that locker room there has to be a sense of excitement with all of the changes too. Hopefully it has been incentive for some guys to 100% buy-in to our team for a change.

I'm hopeful OJ will give us some good minutes and/or give us a good piece at the deadline. I don't know how people can really hate on him for last year. Just think of it as the last FA to get some of Herb's $. Last year was still NBA Siberia. NOW.... New owners, an actual NBA coach who garners respect, a new building on the horizon... A BUZZ through the league. Giannis, Jabari etc. Who wouldn't want to play with this new team rather than the deadbeats we had last year (ridnour/butler/neal). YES, give him another chance. Maybe our positivity can help.

Didn't we make deals with the Pistons and bulls in the past. Just wondering if the pacers have any use for him

He refused to talk about his weight after practice but I think it's more from him being embarrassed about it. I really think he's going to have a bounce back year though.

Everything I've seen looks like he's back in shape, which is pretty sad considering he's an athlete, coming into camp in shape shouldn't be something you have to worry about. I've read a few articles and I think Brandon Knight said something about Mayo hitting the gym this offseason but I don't remember where I saw it.

Is there anything from Houston you guys would want for Mayo and/or Wolters?

Probably nothing Houston would give up. I like Capela, Daniels and Jones.

Why would the Rockets want Mayo? To make Harden feel better about his D?

I had to go back and look at what I felt at the time. I think my post on page 3 sums up the thread and how everyone felt last year:

I love the vibe on the board.

Hey we just shot ourselves in the foot but at least it wasn't the head.

This team still doesn't have a direction. Still is going to be .500. And we just picked up a bad player that is going to push us more towards that hell.

But at least we didn't give him that extra year or that extra million per year.

I guess as Bucks fans we have to take victories where we can. I am tired of this team. Can they just move to Seattle already?

I am still in awe at how well everything broke for us and where we are 15 months later.

Make him feel better about his obesity.

They're bringing in Brett Favre for that.

They wouldn't want to give up a flaming bag of poo? Because I would totally accept a flaming bag of poo for Mayo. As long as the Bucks didn't have to add more value there isn't a deal from Houston that I wouldn't accept.

I know it's only preseason but I like what I've seen from Mayo so far. He dribbles around too much at times but watching how quick he's been getting to the basket is encouraging.

Fact: No player named after a condiment has ever been a legitimately good NBA player.
