Kodi/XBMC free streaming is fine as a last resort, but the quality is garbage, exactly the same as the pirate sites you've seen online for a decade. If you get Ballstreams, though, there's a plugin you can install to get it in Kodi/XBMC.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Any good recommendations on routers? I've had the same one for almost 7 years (Linksys Wireless-G) and it still works/reliable but have heard that new ones (e.g. Wireless AG) can really help with speed/more powerful signal.

I'm interested as well.

What system attributes would you recommend: size of memory, number and type of ports, OS, etc?

I pulled the trigger on this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R7R1H5G?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00

Going to see how it performs without a memory upgrade, but I'm guessing I'll max it out in the next month or so.

I'd be interested in seeing your eval of the system, once you've used it for a time.

So....does Ballstreams have the ability to watch games on demand similar to a DVR set up?

Unhooked the cable box and it's getting cancelled tonight. Between my Ballstreams account (Finally got in!) and over the air, that's all I need. Can't wait for TIme Warner to tell my my internet is going to be 5 billion dollars because I don't have cable or something.

My question is in regards to an app (Android) that is useful for reminding you when shows are on or ever just something which is a great tv guide. I think that's the only thing I'm going to miss is the ability to scroll through a guide to see what's coming up and there are a few shows I am sure the wife and I will be watching live, but I'm super duper forgetful (I mean, it's quite the victory if I remember to turn the light off when I leave a room) so I want something that can buzz me on my phone and tell me a show's about to start in a half hour.

I've done some looking on my own, but Google Play reviews are painful and usually not helpful.

So weird now that I read this... I had tried (over and over) to get an invite from work and my home computer that didn't have my VPN installed. Requested an invite with my PC that did have VPN active (but showed me in Illinois) and I got the invite 2 minutes later. There may be truth to that.
