I think he can play PF behind Jabari (trade Ersan). His shot selection has been awful but his rebounding has been good. I would've let JOB play overseas this year, and have no problem cutting him, pretty sure he'd get some kind of injury settlement out of it.

Personally I'd just stick with JOB but I am sure some teams will be interested as he was highly touted at one point.

Last year at this time Brian Shaw was comparing Q to Paul George.
“To me, the closest comparison to Paul George on this team is Quincy Miller,” Shaw said. “I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I didn’t know much about him when I got here and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. He is really, really talented. At 6-10 he can handle the ball. When he gets his feet set he can shoot it from the outside and he’s got that – he smiles and he’s a nice guy when you see him, but he has a nasty disposition about himself when he’s out there on the floor.

I'm guessing that Q hasn't put in the work and maybe a change of scenery will do it or maybe he's the next Anthony Randolph but I've seen nothing out of JOB so far that would make me think twice about cutting him.

So what have you seen out of Miller that makes you think he's worth signing?

Quincy needs a good environment like San Antonio or even Houston. I don't think Milwaukee is the right spot for him with the total rebuild going on.

We don't have to sign him, just pick him up off of waivers like we did with Marshall.

I'm going to assume all this lottery change guff was just Silver wanting to look like he was trying to do something about tanking for PR.

I can't believe someone wouldn't at the very least give Denver a 2nd for Q. On the outside looking in, I think his ceiling is Tim Thomas. I'd take a young TT on this Bucks team if it means subtracting one of the vets.

I can't believe a guy who averaged 5 ppg on 35% shooting gets a 9 minute highlight reel.

Nash ruled out for the season. Have to think this ends what was an amazing career.

Does the Nash to Lakers go down as the worst move of the 21st century? Cost them a ton of money, clogged up their cap for 3 years, lead to the dantoni hire which helped drive away Dwight and cost them 2 1st rounders (probably a loto pick next yr) and a high 2nd (pick that bucks used on JOB). even John Hammond thinks the Lakers took one on the chin with that deal. Lol

Edit- after thinking about it the Harris trade was still worse. That move was dumb and illogical from the minute it was made. Where as the Nash deal has had disastrous results but you can see the logic of why they gave it a shot.

Uffda.....

You do have to wonder if he calls it a career.

I do not remember the current rules for catastrophic injuries like this. Insurance covers much of the salary cost, but can they also replace his spot on the roster?

How badly does LAL wish they had Kendall Marshall now?

I'm sensing a "win now" Lakers trade for one of the Bucks PG's...get 'em on the phone while they're desperate!
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.
