Still my two favorite trades for the Bucks

I like the first trade, but would prefer of an asset in addition to cap space coming back.

Trade 2 is solid but I see no reason for the Blazers to do it. They have lots of young bigs and need guard depth.

We would be very thin up front and would need Amare to play 30 min a game.
If Sanders got caught doing something wrong and Amare got dinged up, we would be starting JOB at center.
Maybe we could get Eric back...

I'd be ok going after Meyers Leonard but would have to add another piece going to Portland.

But I'd ride Amare hard for his time in Milwaukee and see if he can earn himself some FA money somewhere else.

Absolutely try to get a pick from NY but these are just core ideas.

I think Portland is a bit soft in the middle with Lopez and Henson would have the potential to be a classic Blazer. I figure neither McCollum or Henson can really get the floor time they need in their current situations.

I would say the exact opposite, Leonard, Claver, Freeland and TRob? While they may have quantity there isn't much quality there, henson is a big upgrade. As for guard there's Barton and Crabbe along with McCollum. Blake will play more than any of them so I might think Barton or McCollum is expendable.

Meyers Leonard would require more than Henson? Please.........it's the other way around

I agree. Their guards can't even get on the floor and yet they're soft in the middle. I think Henson would be very attractive to them and McCollum likewise to the Bucks.

Meyers + McCollum..

I think it would take more than Henson to get both. You and I are on the same page.

I'm assuming that Max has something spectacular brewing (no pressure), so there shouldn't be anything half @$$ put up by anyone just to get it out there. I'm so pumped for the season I actually listened to Chuck n Wickett on the way to work, lol.

I'd give Max until an hour before the game. He's earned it.

Would this mess up the Knicks' cap space this summer? Think they're going to be strong suitors for Marc Gasol and the likes of Brandon Knight is not worth giving that up for -- even if Jackson does think he can play a Ron Harper kind of role in the triangle.

I'd similarly be interested in it from our end if only for how it dumps years of contracts off the books. Even if Amare doesn't provide much (like that whole defense thing) it'd be exciting to see him on the court with our young guys if only for spurts at a time.

I think they'd still have enough space for a max contract, but:

1. I don't like the trade for us.
2. I think the Knicks just wait it out with Amare unless they can swing a deal for a star somehow. They can possibly sign Gasol and Knight next offseason if they wanted to. No need to take on Zaza and Ersan unless they were weirdly in love with Knight (which to be fair, I think he could be an ideal PG for them in the triangle depending on what else they put around that team).

two helpful trades - two for none and one for one

1) Knight Zaza 2nd –HOU- NO’s 1st
Rockets need depth and could actually use these guys in their regular rotation in their playoff chase. We have no need for them so to turn them into a 1st is a win.

2) Ersan – SAC- Williams
Kings want a stretch 4 – we get a guy with one less year on his contract.

John Henson to Portland for CJ McCollum

Still my two favorite trades for the Bucks

The first deal is something neither team does

The Bucks would need a pick or a young player(Hardaway Jr.) back and the Knicks certainly won't waste their cap space for next summer on guys like Zaza or Ersan.

I'm also not sure why the Bucks should do the 2nd one, given that McCollum isn't a point guard(just like Knight) and will most likely end up being a scorer/combo guard off the bench.
Though, if you're really down on Henson you might consider it, I guess.

Lakers & Bucks might be good trade partners if Brandons asking Price is too high

Bucks trade
Knight
illyasova
Dudley

Lakers trade
steve nash
Julius Randle
2nd rd pick or clarkson

nash can come help coach wolters marshall and bayless Julius randle is a beast and we need to accumulate talent I cant picture the lakers tanking and pissing kobe off maybe the feel thats enough to cut bait with Randle who is done for the season, maybe im dreaming. i think the three players we send out would help improve their team

If the Lakers are smart, Kobe will be gone come February as long as he waives his no trade, which I expect he would.
