I've only seen Pritzl in clips, but from seeing Hauser in the state tourney and in clips, I think his prospects for being a good major college player are better than Pritzl's. Pritzl can really shoot, but Hauser is longer, more athletic, and can also handle the ball and shoot from distance as was evident in the state tourney.

Lots of (extremely dicey sources) people on Twitter saying Bo is going to retire this week.

This much less dicey source indicates his retirement is going to be decided by them carrying him out of Kohl Center on a gurney after one of his classic tirades.

About the only explanation I could make up for that is maybe he was pandering the masses and higher-ups along so that he could quit at a time when only Gard could fill in.

Still, unlikely and I'll believe it when I see a real rumor I guess.

Wonder who his source was. Someone told me yesterday that he was gloating quite a bit on twitter after the announcement.

Who knows. Probably has a buddy in the athletic department. I knew a bunch of "insider" stuff when I was at UW. Knew people that knew athletes or managers or trainers or whatever. Stuff gets around.

Wow, Dukan got a contract with some guarantees from the Kings!

http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2015/7/20/9007349/sacramento-kings-sign-undrafted-forward-duje-dukan-after-successful

Good for him. I thought there was an outside chance earlier in the season, but by the end it reduced to minuscule if that from the disappearances. The 6'10" shooter aspect is a little tantalizing. I guess the hope would be he is another Novak if he continues honing and can win the battle against lack of confidence.

I always thought he'd be a guy that would go over to like Israel, Spain, Croatia, etc and have a very nice and very long career as a stretch 4.

Good to see him getting a shot in the nba now.
I assume he'll go to camp, get cut, and then they'll try to get him to their D league affliate for the season but he'll end up overseas on a nice contract (his dad's connection to the European game certainly won't hurt).

IDK, still look like female basketball jerseys to me. Adidas is terrible. Interesting that Adidas is giving them a makeover when it's pretty much a done deal that Under Armour will be the official brand of Wisconsin athletics starting next year. Or so I've been told.

It's an overall vibe, but I think the choice in lettering/font plays a major role. They tend to go with rounded cartoony looking lettering and numbers. Maybe they think it goes better with the motion W or something. I'm looking forward to see what Under Armour does with them, I have a feeling it will be a major improvement. None of my friends in Madison have ever liked the Adidas uni's, especially the final four atrocities. It's not just Wisconsin with Adidas either, it's pretty much their entire catalog of college uniforms. Especially their custom uni's for prime time games and the tournament.

ETA: I also like when Wisconsin has incorporated a little bit of black - typically as an outlining complement color. They've done that with a number of their jerseys over the years.

Next, Adidas is going to produce silk jersey tops and stonewash jean short bottoms. With fluorescent slap headbands as adornments.
