PG: wizards beat the bucks

Post#1 » by Fresh_Prince12 » Sun Nov 23, 2014 4:00 am

Played hard in the first half. Parker and Middleton seem to be going through a slump. Giannis finally broke 20 so that's a plus I guess

Jennings misses the layup.

i think part of everyone's problem with knight is that we collectively want a PG with a pass first philosophy. Clearly, knight is not a pass first PG.

eventually, when our offense should be running exclusively through giannis/parker, this will be a problem.

knight clearly has a ton of talent and is a great athlete. He's 22. Can he change his philosophy and become less of a scorer and more of a facilitator? If he can, I would love to keep him in MKE. If not, he needs to go or become a 6th man.

Too much hero ball from Knight. I had hopes he was turning it around at the beginning of the season but he's falling into bad habits again. Middleton and Parker can't seem to find their shot. Not enough Sanders.

Knight didn't do the job of keeping their bigs off the offensive glass.

He doesn't need to change his philosophy he needs to accept the player that he is. At 22 I seriously doubt that will happen.

Because he isn't Lou Williams.

Great to see Giannis continuing to beast and get a career-high on a jumpshot at the end there. Also, it seems that Ersan is finally putting together a string of solid games. Seems like his trend of starting seasons really slow is continuing in 2014. Other than that, no one else really played well. Knight was solid. Zaza continues to be the only vet consistently worth minutes this year. Bayless sucked. I don't understand why Wolters doesn't play more. He's been rock solid almost every minute he's played this year. Dudley can stick **** off.

Let Jabari and Giannis initiate the offense ala Miami Heat with Wade and LeBron. Give them a chance to grow. Jabari should have the offense running through him when he's on the floor.

If Henson can't get off the bench in a game where the bigs are getting outrebounded, then he needs to be traded for something. Otherwise he is going to end up like Udoh.

I thought Wolters looked horrible yesterday.

FEW mistakes?
Are we watching the same game?

He had 27 pts (10/18 ), 6a, 5r on 5 turnovers, 2 of which came at the end when he was trying to make something happen with a garbo lineup out there.

What the hell do you consider a good game? and if giannis had that statline would you be bitching?

He needs to create more plays like a pg he is suppose to be. Just look how a proper PG played this game,Wall.
Played the same minutes, created tons of plays, was good defensively and the best thing of all he passed the ball to his teamates.

If Giannis was a pg then yes.

The points are nice and all but for me there are other factors more important. Boxscore means nothing .

i agree with you that he likely won't change, and i hope i'm wrong. Off the top of my head, I don't think an NBA team has ever won a championship with a shoot first PG

Sanders not being in hurt rebounding. Ersan and Zaza weren't cutting it

I won't lose any sleep if Middleton goes. Not a rebounder, not a good defender, not a good finisher and when he is in a shooting sleep he looks terrible out there. I like the guy, but I'm not paying him more than 3 or 4 mil max in the off-season

It's painfully clear that this loss was due to bad rotations on defense from bigs, poor rebounding, not enough Larry 19 minutes), and some poor shooting to boot (lots of open shots and layups) but all you hear is Knight. And he was efficient with 27, 6, and 5. Come on... This is why its hard to be here...

Couldn't have asked for much more against a good team. We came out strong but couldn't hold on. Giannis scored 20, who cares about anything else.
