Feels like this deserves a thread.

Everybody take a deep breath.

Yeah. If this happens I'm probably going to stop watching again.

What a joke.

I have no problem bringing in Martin to team with Bogut, Redd and T.J. Nice addition. Bring some toughness alongside Bogut in the frontcourt.
Nothing will not break me.

Today is Kenyon's Birthday, he has to be wishing him happy birthday right? How old is he now?

What's sad is he could probably out rebound Sanders and JOB today!

If Kenyon Martin is being signed to be a practice player to teach our bigs how to box out, I can live with that.

This likely means Ersan is out for awhile again.

But if we're playing Bayless, Dudley and Martin all 20+ minutes, that's not going to be much fun.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Funny.

I think I remember Kenyon and Bogut getting into it quite often.

I would rather sign <Insert any young big guy under 25 years of age that has even the slightest chance of being a halfway decent third string PF/C here> than Kenyon Martin.

This move would be all sorts of Herb Kohl.

If we sign Kenyon Martin I am going to brace myself for someone saying "See, told you Kidd could help us get free agents!".

Welp, there goes my faith in ownership if this goes down. We deserve to dwell in mediocrity for even thinking about getting rid of our cheap, young players before the any of the vets.

No other team in the league would prefer to keep to the likes of Zaza, Dudley over Larry/Henson and Middleton. :banghead:
We have Giannis Antetokounmpo and you don't. :naaa:

My guess is that Martin grades out well in the face recognition thing.

Elite face, IMO.

Last time the Bucks were 16-16 this late in the season?

Two years ago under Scott Skiles.......

On a serious note, how do they get the roster exemption for Jabari? I assume they can obtain that since he's done for the year?

The only way I could even rationalize this move would be if he's brought in to mentor the young bigs and log 10-14 minutes until Ersan and Larry are healthy, but isn't that what Zaza is there for?

Otherwise, the **** are we doing signing a 37 year old PF? Just play JOB more for Christ's sake.

Guys around here seem to be ready to jump off a cliff pretty easily if signing a player to a vet minimum contract is enough to make you give up on the new ownership group.

This thread was created to put to rest any notion of Kidd buying into the #OwnTheFuture motto.

The guy only knows one thing: Win Now.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I've thought Kidd was the main decision maker in this thing for a while now. If we sign Kenyon, that is put on lock.

But these types of moves, even if they don't happen, are why I believe we will put veterans ahead of youth this year, even if it gets us one more win, and we will be very quiet at the trade deadline even if there is interest from other teams.
