Does he have the potential to figure things out?

Well, guess that's off-topic.

Knicks signed Lou Amundson to a 2nd 10-day contract as well. Phil Jackson must really be gunning for that 8th seed....

The Martin signing and the dropping of Wolters was dumb but I'm tired of the constant pessimism about how it's the Kohl era all over again. At the beginning of the season we were starting Middleton and Dudley. Gianni's was getting 15/20 mins. Parker was being pulled early. Like Kidd said it was going to take a month or more of an 11 man rotation to figure out why he wanted. What happened? Giannis got moved into the starting lineup with Parker and they were both given 30 mpg consistently. We were winning. Ersan was hot so he was given minutes over Henson. They weren't playing for win now. They were just winning. Now bc the team showed more than anyone thought capable and bc they are trying to build a winning culture, they're going for the playoffs. We're half way through the season in the 5th seed. Sure it's the East, but we weren't just going to tank after our good start. This season has been nothing like the Kohl era. I can't believe people would be willing to trade Kidd for a late first rounder. Do you not see the progress? Our top players are 22, 19, and 19. They were all getting 30 mpg. We were winning. Get over the dream of another top 5 pick and the idea that it's impossible to become a contender without it. We have two stars and a star young coach. A new arena coming. We will get that 3rd guy through FA or a trade when we're winning 50 off of Gianni's and Parker in 2 years. Stop being so pessimistic and enjoy the fact that the Bucks aren't a waste of time anymore. Enjoy the fact that they have a new direction.

They should just sign the guy as a friggin' coach. That's the only positive I think he's brought and I can't even really tell, but he seems to be there for advice a lot for other guys. Whether that's good or bad is anyone's guess.

But on the court... he's useless other than a few fouls and almost starting fights.

Especially if they're not going to play him. We're starting JOB at PF and getting murdered on the glass. Seems like an ideal time to get Kenyon some minutes. Maybe he's still hurt.

Again, Kenyon isn't the worst signing.

But maybe he's in charge of preparing the 8th seed championship banner?

If keeping Martin on the roster is a crony move, that would be a major disappointment. IF it's a bridge to facilitate other personnel moves, I'll live with it. I don't see Martin showing much more than he did so far. In his case, it's the age AND the miles. Keep him on as a coach if his ability as a mentor is so highly valued

Yes, I absolutely believe that LED have given him mandates such as playing time for Giannis or position minutes from Knight. Seems to me that LED have already valuated the roster, and it would appear their focus is on Giannis, Knight, and Middleton in terms of putting this players in uncomfortable situations to pull out their max both now and in the future. And it is working very well.

Are you saying the owners are telling the HOF player and current coach what players should play, how long they should play and at what position they should play? If that is the case I see this as another reason posters are calling these owners Herb Kohl part II.
