Man, I would be so excited... if the slam dunk contest didn't become the most boring event of all star weekend probably 10 years ago. Vince Carter was the last guy worth watching. Here's hoping Giannis can do something interesting, he certainly has a unique body type that could maybe do some unique stuff.

I worry that he just doesn't have the ups for this. But his length could certainly make things interesting.

Sweeeeeet. Giannis doesn't have the hops or hang time to do anything too crazy, but I he has the length to pull off the Jordan-from-FT-line. Maybe he could even get one from farther out.

I haven't tuned into the dunk contest in awhile. I just hate how hard they try to sell it and just never lives up. It will be good exposure for Giannis though. Hope he does well.

I think Giannis could do something crazy like 2 hands from the foul line while not touching the line from the jump. I mean has anyone ever seen Giannis at a full sprint jump with no one in his way? That could be historical.

Giannis should bounce the ball at halfcourt towards the basket, do a cartwheel that covers the distance between half court and the FT line, and slam it home.

Perusing the web on some other hopefuls for the dunk contest, I came across this quote from SI - pretty interesting.
