Hate to put blame on refs as they are human, but man. They let some of those Spurs camp out in the paint and gave them some very ticky tack fouls while letting San Antonio to be physical on the other side of the court. Tough loss.

Kidd really frustrated me during this one...

But for the last minute or so, I thought Bayless played pretty well. We will remember that last minute though - oooof.

The blown non-call on Diaw on Giannis' drive was a back breaker, but it was one of several

The game was fun until Knight mode and the refs took over.

Great first quarter, but ugly game. Middleton, the bright spot.

Bayless...yuck. Harsh for him but he really blew it, special thanks to the refs.

Bayless did what he could. He's a great 3rd/4th guard. He's just not a starter.

No doubt, it's harsh to pin it on him, really with our roster we have no right to be in games like these but reality is he blew to open shots close to the rim. Plus I'm shattered his streak ended..

Kidd's choice to let the team try to right the ship during the Spurs' decisive run to take the lead clearly failed.

That's one of my biggest issues with Kidd right now. He has a tendency to be a bit too reluctant to use a timeout to settle things down at times. And tonight, his young team playing on a quick turnaround back-to-back on the road against a defending champ, letting the kids try to figure it out seemed nonsensical to me. I don't get it in that situation. This was a very winnable game and the run and keeping Middleton on the bench too long were the biggest points I came out with. Middleton was hot, play the hot hand more.

Middleton is looking more and more like a long term 3 and D starter.

His improvement after a slow start is one of the season's biggest bright spots.

It's not at all ridiculous to say Middleton will end up the best player in the Jennings/Knight trade. Very solid starter in this league.

True, but watching Knight repeatedly dribble in circles for half of the shot clock and/or charge into the lane with no purpose except to shoot a contested shot over multiple defenders was a much worse option.

Kidd even shocked me by finally having enough and pulling Knight late in the game. I try to avoid piling on Knight in numerous threads as some others do more often, but watching him try to run an offense in games like tonight drives me nuts, regardless of the fact i don't care much whether the Bucks win or lose.

That one possession in the 4th quarter with about 4-5 minutes left summed him up perfectly. Knight brings the ball up the court, dribbles a few seconds by the top of the key, charges into the lane with zero plan, circles all the way back to around to the free throw line, dribbles there for another two seconds or so, and finally charges back into the lane again with no plan, leading to a blocked shot with multiple Spurs contesting it.

He cannot under any circumstances be the Bucks starting PG next, much less at big money.

He's been the best player in the deal from week one.

I'm as big a hater of Jenno and Knight as anyone but this isn't true. Seriously though I can see him as a 16-18 ppg and 5 board guy, really solid 3rd/4th option. Initially I thought 8 mill a year was to much but the more I think about it the more I think that would be a bargain given what we are on tap to pay Knight.

Only watched the first half where the team played well... even Knight. Looks like the wheels fell off in the second half.

From what I did see, I really enjoyed the ball movement and the defense.

Imagine we'll have a few more second half fade outs as the season goes on, given the injury and Larry situation. Only 11 healthy players will lead to fatigue.

It's interesting to look at those names/numbers and then place Middleton right now and also project Middleton in 15-16 and beyond, say 4 years.

Yeah thanks for that, i wouldn't have thought of all those of the top of my head but it's a great list to compare. If we could get him for 4 years at 8 I'm confident it would be a bargain. He's still young with room to improve but his shot is already super consistent and he's an decent defender at worst.
